The big deal is that special teams players aren't allowed to push their own players to try for a block.

But offensive players ARE allowed to push their own players to gain a yard or 2.

It's outlawed on defense/special teams for "player safety". Where's the player safety on offense?

If I was an owner I would force the NFL hand by going Bill Veeck midget mode (young guys research required)... I would put 3.. 550 lb Sumo wrestlers on my squad teach one to take a snap (not splitting the atom here).. Put 2 behind him and push away for 4 plays in a row...Like the midget mode it would not take long for the NFL to react... Just like MLB did..
