This is the playoffs. It's win or go home for both teams here. I don't understand why Norv's awful play-calling will not have anything to do with this game. Mike Shanahan is a genius compared to Norv Turner. I think he will have his guys better prepared than ol' Norv Turner. He has made a fool of himself in multiple big games and will continue to make a fool of himself.

Rivers and Cutler hate each other so you know they both are going to be at their best. I give the edge to Rivers because he is at home and how the last game turned at. Denver is going in the wrong direction playing terrible ball while SD is playing great ball. I realize one game can turn the momentum around for Denver but that defense flat out sucks right now and LT will have his best game ytd. I think Turner sucks as a head coach but this is not the playoffs so his terrible coaching will be passed on for this game. Betcrimes already listed the December records for both teams and that is a big factor in this game. So, this game will come down to the players and the playmakers and SD has more. I think Vegas set the line high to get Denver action because if they set it 6.5 or less SD would have gotten pounded. This line will give Vegas equal action and they will make a bunch of money on the public this week

This is way too many points for this mediocre S.D. team to be laying, especially in a game of this magnitude. San Diego is one game under .500. This team is 2 plays away from being swept by K.C. They have some good players there's no doubt, but their defense will keep them from covering this spread. 31st in the league against the pass. All of S.D. lines this year are based on potential it seems like, because this team has been outplayed in the majority of its games. Bottom line is they are where they are playing to get into the playoffs...Home crowd and a ton of motivation after they were all but written out of the playoffs. BUT don't think for a second Denver is going to give this game away. With their passing game, they can be in this thing until the final play. This should be an entertaining night game with a ton of scoring. S.D. will pull it out 34-27

Denver acts Bi-Polar. You never know what they hell they are up too. Some wekks they score at will. Other weeks they look like they are lost on offense.
Which Denver teams shows up tonight? I have NO clue.

SD hung a ton of points on TB last week who has a better D than Denver (even though TB has been slumping). I still will be taking all dogs today but this game really scares me.

I've been a Broncos fan since 1984...here are my thoughts...
1. Denver has NO running game. Tatum Bell was working in a grocery store when he got the call a few weeks ago. i believe he is now the 5th or 6th RB Denver has gone to this year. 2. Denver cannot stop the run or the pass. This is bad when facing Sproles and LT. Rivers has three targets in Jackson, Gates and Chambers. Denvers secondary is beat up, but the do get Bailey back all be it not 100% 3. Denver won their home contest setting a negative tone to the Chargers season on a backbreaking bad call by Ed Hochuli for those who remember. Denver ended up going for 2 in this one for the one point vic. Slap in the face....but easilly because Shanny KNEW his defense could never hold in the event they lost the coin flip in OT. There's confidence for ya. 4. Denver has had NUMEROUS opportunities to clinch a playoff berth and blew it to Buffalo at home losing by 7...and thats the Bills... 5. SD has been on a nice 3 game win streak(each one a must win game) and capped it off with an impressive if not improbable victory over the TB Bucs in Tampa...screwed me GOOD on POOLS.... 6. SD is simply the more balances team. If they play to the Broncos ONLY strength which is their passing game, they should easilly force Jay Cutler into several bad choices which in all likelyhood mean interceptions. Play a strong zone...that's the key.
To summarize, the Chargers have everything going for them in this matchup. They are at home, determine their own destiny, play a hated rival who slapped them in the face the last time they saw each other. They have the better talent on offense(more complete talent anyway) and should take this victory with not too much effort. But the reason why i THINK they cover is that the Chargers will want to PUNISH the Broncos for making them sweat the whole season in no small part to that ridiculous blown call in their 1st matchup. You can BET the Chargers and their coaching staff will run up the score given the opportunity.
