@ABooksNightmare 100% there's more money being bet on props then actual games, Wake up bro everything in life is controlled by $$$ the NFL is no different
Completely disagree with this. There is no public data that supports either side, but there are way more casual bettors than handicappers. Casual bettors bet more spreads and totals

@Biscuiteater1 What a silly statement, do you think the NFL is going to go on twitter and say they rigging games? Like mentioned before an NBA ref was rigging games but noooo not the holy NFL they would never
Not sure what silly statement you referring too. Allow me to use this as an example of where i'm coming from. Many many people are convicted of commiting crimes without their admittance to them. They get convicted based on evidence, what evidence can you show pointing to a collaborative effort to rig NFL games.

Not only that but you can not bet larger amounts of $$ on props, there is still more money bet on the spread ml and total of a NFL game than the props.

Again you are showing how very little knowledge you have about sports gambling. I don’t know if I have time to educate you but people betting props that are parlayed make up the large majority of the books profits to the point where you see them giving you all these boosts? Why they giving boosts? Because they are nice guys? Use your brain for a minute, the 2 dudes on instagram betting 200k a side are a drop in the bucket when you have 300,000 people across the country betting 10$ prop parlays

Wow, ok we can just let people who chance upon this thread to decide who is more knowledgeable. Two last things, you're example of $$ wagered is laughable and when you get the time please show some evidence of the fixes.I wish you luck with your wagers and I mean it or I would not have typed it.

They don’t care about your bet, but if everyone came out winning there would be no more sport books. Who pays the players; The NFL. Who pays the NFL; The T.V. Broadcasting rights to air the games. Who pays the T.V.; The comercials. If they make you watch the games till the end you will watch the comercials and buy their products. So they massage the games to be entertaining and yes they do Vegas the favor of letting them win. It’s a combination of all that. One thing is for sure , if you win you can cash out, if you loose you want it back. It’s not just about handicapping, it’s more than that. Last year , since it was the beginning of legal online sportsbooks , they let all the public win to get them addicted to winning, they know they will give it all back and more

They want eyes on the TV as long as possible for ratings...higher ratings = more expensive advertising slots = more money in owners pockets
Watch how often a team up 2 scores will have a holding call or another penalty called on them in the 4th quarter to stall a drive to give the team down 2 scores a chance to make the game more competitive and therefore keep more eyes on the TV for longer into the 4th quarter, which is what they need for ratings to be able to sell the advertisement slots for more .money
During the first 4 weeks there were an insane amount of drive stalling penalties to keep the team trailing in the game, especially if they were down more than 8 points. Happened to the eagles in 3 of 4 games.
The goal is to keep eyes on the games as late as possible to keep ad revenue as high as possible

The fact that these kids think that they can see, or allowed to see, actual dollar values of any such wagering, whether online or in Vegas, is comical. They think they are seeing real betting figures when they in fact are actually not. Common sense doesn't prevail that there is no way to obtain actual figures on any one game or prop from every sportsbook that is out there. Even a site that may try to sell you on this fact that they have this figure is absolutely lying to you. They may provide their numbers, but no way that all online sportsbook's have real time information across every book. Vegas for sure does not have this information. Each sportsbook, whether online or a domiciled place, run independently of one another and those are just facts. Can this information be obtained after the fact some time down the road, sure, but real time, no way.
With that being said, your plan falls apart very quickly that a game can be tilted one way or another at any time throughout the game to favor one side or another. This is comedy to think that this is the case because "the books need" or "they made a call" to Vegas to screw people out of a bet. So I guess Draft Kings is making all the decisions now and influencing the outcome of prop bets? You know how ridiculous that sounds?
If no one has real time info on the actual betting percentages or action taken on any given side, how would it be possible to influence the outcome of a game or prevent something from happening? They can't, it's virtually impossible since books are not sharing that information on game day, and certainly not before or after the game has started. To think this is happening is buying into the conspiracy theory. Vegas does not have real time data shared from book to book for many reasons. They certainly could with today's technology, but they don't because why would they? Why would independent books share that kind of data? What would be gained by doing so?
A sportsbook's goal is to generate a profit based on balancing their own books by getting action on both sides, not as a group like you are indicating. Sharing any such data like you have suggested would cause any book to give their competition a competitive advantage while losing theirs. Why would any business want to reveal their risk they have in any one game, let alone across the board on multiple games? Wouldn't any business prefer to keep this in house without notifying their competition?

What they do have, is data service companies, run by a third party, that obtains betting data analytics from a range of operations so they can get a view of the betting market. It does not mean that any one particular book is providing such data and it could very well be from only a few selected books providing such information. This is how they can monitor lines across the industry as a whole to see any significant shifts in the market.
Sportsbook's are businesses like any other business. To think that Vegas is somehow interconnected with all other enterprises betting figures or percentage is asinine. That they could collectively, as a group, influence a game by "making a call" or whatever phrases are thrown out there is absolutely ludacris. The magnitude of evening trying to accomplish this from week to week with the amount of people it would take to do so and on the amount of games from any given day/week would take a small army to accomplish. Then, you have to get the league involved, the players, the coaches, the referees, the cheerleaders and then this would have to be practiced over and over again by teams to be sure they get it right. Imagine all this coming together so they could influence a little bit of money on one game. And if you are saying they can do this week to week on multiple games, then you would need every worker in the government shutdown to participate in effectively pulling this off. And then the final thing. You would have to do all this without there ever being a leak that the NFL is rigged or is cheating or influencing sports wagering. With all the social media and looky lous around and would say this is all very unlikely.
Your story lacks a lot merit based on anything presented above, which is actually reality and not made up. Good luck in your quest to expose the NFL and all its minions in this conspiracy theory. See you on the next planet Earth 2.0 after this all gets exposed.

When a teams is up by 21 at the end of the 4th quarter and the spread was 14, only people with a bet would watch it. Everyone would turn the game off if there was no point spread.

@ABooksNightmare Very very simple, X player has alot of action on his prop? Oh theres a magical holding call on the play he caught the ball. Oh we will have 2 full minutes of garbage time that can trigger a bunch of props going over? magic penalty on the FG to end game. 99% of the public is betting on player prop Overs so they don't need to stop anyone specifically. Plus the books can see where all the action is
Where are you getting your info that 99% of the public is betting on player prop OVERS???

From fantasy island because there is no way anyone can get actual real time statistics like that. He's peacocking and acting like he knows something the rest of us don't. Even if he worked for 10 books, he still wouldn't know that percentage. He may know the percentages of those 10 books he works for, but there is whole big world out there that he could not possibly know....
Conspiracies are fantastic
Let's go conspiracy

It is common knowledge that the books make most profits from SGP, Why do you think you constantly get flooded with boosts? When is the last time you saw a boost from a straight bet? Unlike straight bets books don't need to even out their action and just collect vig, You should be able to understand this by now.
Like I said before money is the driving factor in almost every aspect in life but somehow you think the NFL is untouched that is wild to me.

I think the outcomes are legit and can be influenced like any other sport, but not nearly on the basis as you presented here in this thread with props...the one you dont factor in any of your nonsense is poor bomehead plays by humans...ridiculous coaching decisions by humans or poor judgements made by humans....humans are not perfect and therefore that is why outcomes appear odd and strange not because vegas jad influence over the outcome related to prop bets...get a hold of yourself..
I discredited your logic in my previous post. And yes, it was lpgic and rationale being used not some stupid conspiracy theory loke you suggested...
I've been doing this shit for almost 40 years and I've seen crazy shit happeni almost 40 years ago before information could be transmitted via internet or even cellphones...that's right, same shit before any such technology and information was able to be shared globally...
Some of you forget that there didnt used to be cellphones or the internet and some of us had a 35 foot phone cord with a rotary phone just to try and talk to people..this shit you see today happened back then to so and the reason is because it is dealing with humans...
