It always good to look back at your losses sometimes and see what went wrong or how close of a pick it was.

Out of my 10 losses this year, 2 were due to star players being scratched less than an hour to tipoff when I wasn't aware, 1 was due to a star player being injured in the first quarter.  4 of the remaining 7 did not cover by 2 points or less.  With a few lucky bounces our way, that 90% could be very well still within grasp

These are in NO way excuses for losing, just a reflection that even when I have lost, it hasn't been due to a misread on the games.

Vegas has the public all over these road favorites tonight but with the short card I see 3 dogs covering and only 1 favorite.  Just a gut feeling but the key for me tonight is picking the right dogs.

Starting with a first half total though.  I see the Mavs and Thunder trying to outrun each other up the court trying to one up each other for most of the first half before clamping down on defense in the second half.  

Thunder/Mavs First half Over 105
Risk 2.2 to win 2 units

Lot of intrigue with Phil coming back to Lakertown.  I think this lights a fire under the lakers behinds more than anything.  Trusting the Knicks on the road to win is a tall order and even a bigger task for them to cover this large number.  Give me the points

Lakers +8
Risk 1.2 to win 1 unit

Don't feel comfortable trusting them for the whole game but I do think Orlando comes out swinging tonight in front of the home crowd and catching Portland off guard after a tough loss at Miami still lingering.
