Hey guys, after a huge pucks winning streak I said I might have a disaster. And boy did I; couldn't have been any worse last night. My picks were awful, and my apologies if you tailed.

To make things worse, spent way too much time in the bar last night. Yuuuukkkk.

You're not alone, my friend....that Caps' game killed me.  69 total shots on goal was pretty much what I called for, but fell a Caps' goal short of hitting my parlay and the Caps' TT.  Moreover, Ovechkin and Kessel tied at 2 pts each rendering my Ovechkin play a loser as well.    Sorry to those who tailed.

Early hockey....Phil TT Over 2.5 -135 MEDIUM.  Flyers offense has really picked up over the last few weeks, and they've scored at least 3 goals in 4 of their last 5 games.  Lightning have been sloppy on D, and they are again without star goaltender Bishop, so Flyers should be able to get to 3 and more.Over 5.5 +105 TB/Phil SMALL.  Just want something on FG Over as Flyers have been scoring and Lightning have gone over 4 of their last 5 games;  they give up plenty of goals and get some too.Heading out for some errands.  GL

Good luck today, Baby   My sense is that we're going to see some unexpected outcomes in the upcoming NHL schedule as we're approaching the dog days of the NHL season and the Olympic break.  What's more, a good deal of the players are still dealing with the excitement and disappointment of the recently announced Olympic rosters adding further intangibles to the capping process...just my opinion.

Flyers (Reg) (+130) - matinee games are always difficult to predict but I'm going to side with the Flyers in this one for much of the same reasons as Baby though taking them in regulation for + value.  Flyers are on a roll and really need these two points today to close the gap on Tampa.  Flyers have won 10 straight home games and I do believe that the early start favors the home team.

Yeah if only Caps could have scored 1 more goal, would have been an awesome night. Luckily, i loaded down on clips and under 2h last night and that helped balance it out.

On to today though...I'm on PHI TT with you guys.

So far i like the DET/PHX under 207.

Last 10 games in Detroit went over, however both teams are on their 4th game in 5 nights. Phoenix also lost by FORTY points last time they played. Given that was last season I still think they come with a more defensive mindset this time around and end the 10 game streak of going over the total in Detroit.

Man....I don't know what to make of that game.  Heavy rain and potential wind gusts up to 50mph and yet the total is still hanging around 44ish.  I love Brees but just can't see him throwing 3 TDs in those conditions....not to mention the noise.

This really sticks out for tonight, so firing it in now....

Ana TT Over 2.5 -150 MED/BIG. The line might look steep, but in their last 5 games Ducks scored 6.5.4.5.4. Yotes D has gone way downhill, and read below to see their overall play.

Ana -1/2 +130 MEDIUM. Ducks are HOT, the best in the NHL, 9-1 their last 10, and won 5 straight. Yotes are 3-7 last 10, lost 8 of last 11 at home, and lost last game at home to Minn. Ducks have played Yotes 4 times this season and won them all.

Might even play Ducks -1.5. The +230 is terrific, but I want to be sure Hiller is in net before doing it. GL
