There's usually that one underdog from the wildcard round that carries the momentum with them into this round. Are the Tigers the one? Dodgers, Yanks and Cubs were faves in their previous round. Anyone got any trends to back this up? Something to think about

I don’t have any trends however the Mariners have owned the Tigers and I would not even consider them as an upset candidate however, I do think the Cubs have an opportunity to beat Milwaukee not only do the Brewers not have a lot of pop in their bats, but they’re pitching is Suspect, along with the fact that the Cubs are a rival of theirs and likely will have a big portion of the crowd in attendance

Philly plays better at home, but with the time off their bats might be stale for game 1. The Phillies lineup hasn't seen Ohtani but One time I believe, and Ohtani shut the Phillies down F5. He'll go at least 7-8 innings this time not risking the dodgers horrendous Bullpen.
Game 2 I can see Philly possibly winning.
After it goes back to L.A. I think the dodgers take game 3 & 4. They have the momentum.

@ JamesTee don't discount the Tigers in any sport where winning breeds winning and losing unfortunately breeds losing. After blowing that 15.5 game lead to Guards they slayed the dragon in game 3. Only 1 Tarik Skubal and he will pitch 2 of the 5 games. Troy Melton starts game 1 and although he had a rough outing out of the pen in wild card game he is not a reliever he is a starting pitcher with 8 or 9 pitches. Tigers bullpen with Holton and Finnegan and closer Vest are strong. Tigers worth a look as an upset team.
