Kerkering panicked upon fumbling the comebacker, and then choked so hard his throw was nowhere near Realmuto’s glove. What a gruesome and stupid way for the Phillies to bow out.

Do you think possibly he thought their was less than two outs?

And to add more insult to the situation the catcher was signaling for him to throw to first.

And maybe since he bobbled the ball and the play was in front of him at home he may of thought thought that it was his only play.

Will be tough for him when he gets off that plane back home in Philly that's for sure.
