Strong day yesterday and now we are entering the final week. I expect to own this week and the playoffs snd anything less is a failure.  Very solid past week but this week their can be no screw ups. Small card tonight but we will find big value. Lets get  it

Gore and sale met next week in a game that ended 5-0 in 10 innings with both starters not allowing anything. Gore under is 3-0 last 3 starts where he allowed 5 runs 9 hits in 15.1 innings.  He had turned it around his last 6 starts allowing 3 runs or less in all 6 games and holding the braves to 2 hits in 5.1 innings last week. Sale has allowed 1 run or less in 9 of 10 games dominating some of the best lineups in the league. Under 7 is 10-2-1 last 13 games. Under 7 for me here.

Sale over 8.5 strikeouts -122 - 5 units

He has 9 strikeouts exactly in 4 straight starts and 9 or more in 6 of 7 games

If the Mets lose out to the reds for the wild card spot cohen is going to go crazy…at one point while the Mets where 21 games over 500 at the same time the reds where 12 under 500

If you where to tell me that Soto would have a big 2nd half after a sub par first and the Mets would only be 4 games over I would have laughed…pitching the key sengi always hurt

 Stearns did a horrible job putting the team together. Mendoza has made bad decisions costing us at keast 12-15 games

With alonso and soto numbers you would of thought this team would be at least 15 games over 500 at a minimum

 Doesn't matter if midway through the season you have relief rejects all on your roster ajd your starters cant go more then 5 innings. Also vientos was awful and others like Alvarez were inconsistent

POD # 2- padres under 7 -110 - 12.5 units

Pivetta has exceeded expectations in 3very way this year going 13-5 with a 2.81 era with 185 strikeouts in 176 innings and only 125 hits allowed. He has been better in petco going 8-1 with a 2.22 era and 105 strikeouts. He faces best in MLB brewers tonight but brewers essentially have been number 1 for awhile and have been playing mediocre baseball lately and only motivation left is to get home field.  Peralta has gone 17-6 2.65 era this year and has allowed 1 run or less in 7 of 8 starts. Padres are 8 for 64 against him with 24 strikeouts. In his only meeting vs the padres this year he held them to 1 hit 0 runs i. 6 innings in a 1-0 final. With both teams traveling in expect a sleepy Monday night game with great pitching and a 3-2 final
