I really expect the Tigers to be one of the worst teams this year, and they have probably confirmed my low opinion by running out Zimmermann as their #1, opening day starter. It really doesn’t get much worse than that. A respectable ST performance does not convince me that a guy that posted an 11-18 quality start record and went 12-17 versus opposing starters last year is suddenly going to find the Fountain of Youth and pull the greatest resurrection since Lazarus. Nova did not have an overly impressive ST, but if you remember correctly he got off to a nice start last year, and he is backed by the far better match-up offense. Bettors opinions of both teams are low this year, but the while the public backs the home team, the money says visitor.

This site can be baffling at times regarding what it posts and what it deletes.
