LAD/TOR Game 6 Discussion thread

Gausman pitch count is near 60 after 3 innings. The BJ batters look as baffled by Y as they were in game 3. 

Funny enough I expected the Dodgers to get out in front first

Ohtani looked horrible at the plate in the last two games and again in his first at-bat tonight, but dummy Schneider played it dumb, afraid to be second guessed.

Was it immediately obvious to any of you that the decision to put the cold Ohtani on base was unwise?

Maybe Schneider played what I was contemplating o3.5 F5

I get what you are saying but the BJs manager doesn't want to be crucified in the court of public opinion. He is damned either way but he would prefer to be viewed as taking the best option. Was it the best option in this case? Probably not.

I would not intentionally walk any hitter. Some big names have choked in World Series' play. Check out Willie Mays' lousy numbers (zero homers, 6 RBIs, .230 BA in 21 games and 5 world series 1-4). Yeah, he had the great catch, um big deal. 

Shohei Ohtani is now 2-17 against Kevin Gausman, but let’s not mess with him with a runner on second and one out in the 3rd inning of a 0-0 game!

Something bad could happen!

If they don't get into that Dodger bullpen, it could be onto game 7 or so it seems to me. Yamamoto seems like a puzzle that the BJs can't solve.

The BJs blew it in that 18 inning game. They ran themselves out of the winning runs multiple times. 

Gausman's last inning?

Yamamoto is up to 75 pitches through five innings. I think this Dodgers season will end in a familiar and painful way.
