Covers FREEROLL Poker Tournament (8-10-25)

It’s here folks !!!

Covers community gets a chance to test their skills against other members and win some cash while doing it. Best thing is it’s FREE !!! So make sure and tell your friends to get signed up at Covers so they can play .

As stated in other threads , this will be played at POKERSTARS . Can be played at home , work or on the go SO there are no excuses .  I know there will be questions about USA players but the good thing is it’s on the “play money” version so EVERYONE can play !!

Open the app (PokerStars Play Money) and scroll down to HOME GAMES .

Also you will see  that it “cost” 20,000 tokens to play .  You get 35k when you sign up so it will not cost anything .  Also you can re-up every 4 hours so it will NEVER cost anything .  You will see what I’m talking about as you get familiar with site.  So I suggest occasionally to log on and re-up free of charge. If you have any questions on this , just ask.  We want to make sure it never cost the community anything .  If you choose to play on PokerStars then that’s up to you but the Freerolls will always be FREE to our community !!!

Try to use your Covers name when signing up or a variation of it .. example : Superbeets$$ or $$superbeet$$.. if you can’t because it’s taken or you have a previous account then no worries , please make a post in this thread before tourney starting .  When claiming prize you will have to verify you are a member !!! So it’s on you to make sure we know who you are on PokerStars before it starts.  This is to protect the Covers community and the hard work we all put in and not some random joining 

Please sign up ASAP so if there are any issues we can get them resolved before Sunday . Also this is  first tournament so going forward, we will find the best day and times to run them where it doesn’t interfere with football days 

Prize Money:

1st - $200

2nd- $50

You will have a couple options during payout .. cash or Amazon card .

Follow the instructions and sign up with PokerStars Free money site. If it lets you then by all means. There is no restriction from Covers side. You are the only one who knows your rules and regulations

Also the Tourney will be at 3pm CST 

Check your time zones to make sure you don’t miss it !!!

I’ve started accepting people into the group .. please make sure to REGISTER once you have been accepted.  Very important to do that 

Also make sure that if your username is not the same or close ( where it can be verified ) then please put a post in one of the many threads stating the PS username

Just remember to REGISTER once you’ve been accepted to group ..  i know I sound like a broken record but this is for you guys. I don’t want anyone to not be able to play ..This is a GREAT things COVERS is doing..  so far a good turnout.  BUT I’m seeing some people who are accepted but haven’t registered.  I can’t register for you .. just please do before Sunday.  We will play with 5 people or 5000 people.  This is for y’all

Doing this middle of the afternoon on a Sunday is tough. So much better if it were done in the evening instead

Yeah understandable. This is the first one.  We will look at it going forward.  What we tried to do is not too early or too late .. that way if it runs long for whatever reason then it’s not effecting plans people have  ..I doubt it will being a TURBO but your never know.. people could still make plans for Sunday evening with family and/or friends ..

Going forward we will get input from everyone .. obviously we can’t please everyone BUT this is for the people of Covers so input will be considered and greatly appreciated..it will be a challenge with NFL and College football so we will find best day and time to work for majority

What is the link for the pokerstars play money app? There is no app "play money" in the Google play store.

You can probably use the regular app.  I think it’s poker stars lite or something but try regular app also
