Buehrle's 1.40 ERA against the Cubs in the last couple of years kept me off. Plus Garza's 13K's to 13 BB's in this last 4 starts is in indicator that he's just not pitching well at all right. I'll look to back him at home against a weaker lineup

You are probably right about the SD bullpen. I have not done a recent comparison on their home vs away bullpen stats, but I would have to imagine that those good numbers are likely inflated by all the low scoring games at home.
Besides, there is something about Fenway. Boston has a way of pulling out these close games at home. I would just rather take advantage of the obvious starting pitching mismatch at the +160 odds by playing the 5 inning line than risk having the bullpens getting involved...

Twinkies have a chance tonight but not a big one. Huge advantage for the Giants in starting pitching and bullpen. Prior to the odds coming out last night I was going to back San Fran but expected them to be at -130 or so. When they came out at -150, it was a pass for me (similar to the DET/LAD game last night actually). Trying to be a little more selective but both Dodgers last night and Giants today would have been plays under 'normal' circumstances.
