We would have cancer cured before having smartphones

Why can we come up with this, but not a cure for cancer

How old are you?  To "cure" cancer is a quest to "cure" death.  Medicine can find ways to prolong the inevitable, and increase quality of life.  But there is no escape cancer as the ultimate weapon of the grim reaper.  Fact of life.

Cancer is a business.  There's simply too much money involved in the treatment of it.

There are cures, and this I am positive of.

Preventing cancer, however, is the best approach.  There isn't too much research in that if you'll notice.

Alcohol, tobacco, poor diet, lack of exercise... this is just how people live.

Donating to cancer research = throwing money in the toilet and flushing.

With an exploding population around the world, the last thing humanity needs is a cure that allows people to live to be 100+. Accept your fate and accept Jesus as your ticket to heaven when(not if) you die.

Jesus said to him, "I can guarantee this truth: Today you will be with me in paradise."

Heaven will be so much better than what we have on Earth, but the selfish masses who believe they are above God, or don't believe at all (with nothing to disprove him) will continue to sell their souls to the golden calf of material possession.

waaaaaay too much profit in keeping folks just sick enuff to keep on living while being pumped full of an assortment of drugs and "advanced" treatments unfortunately....its sad and disgusting but entirely true.......oh,and as a bizness do people not realise that it is in the companies best interests to "generate" as many "customers" as humanly possible??...the detrimental, negative things in our modern lifestyle are promoted for a reason..

as mentioned there are many, many natural ways to live that keep the chance of cancer occuring to an absolute minimum and even ways to naturally "cure" it,so to speak.

people need to look elsewhere for their information if they are relying on main-stream media and conventional medical "wisdom".this information is put out there by the same folk in cahoots with pharmaceutical big bizness and is almost entirely false/fictional or mis-leading at best.

unfortunately with the way people in the modern age are conditioned to have a tragically short attention span most dont really give a shiit for too long about even loved ones needlessly dying....not enuff to stand up and do anything meaningful anyway....its normally not long before its strait back to the phone or gadget theyre obsessed with daily or watching the feckin kardashians or trained monkeys running around throwing a ball or sum other mindless trivia.

Alcohol, tobacco, poor diet, lack of exercise... this is just how people live.

Donating to cancer research = throwing money in the toilet and flushing.

waaaaaay too much profit in keeping folks just sick enuff to keep on living while being pumped full of an assortment of drugs and "advanced" treatments unfortunately....its sad and disgusting but entirely true.......oh,and as a bizness do people not realise that it is in the companies best interests to "generate" as many "customers" as humanly possible??...the detrimental, negative things in our modern lifestyle are promoted for a reason..

as mentioned there are many, many natural ways to live that keep the chance of cancer occuring to an absolute minimum and even ways to naturally "cure" it,so to speak.

Even so, you will die. No matter how steadfast and benevolent  you think you are, you will die. Make a plan for the afterlife. It's more important than what you have here.

No. I but believe that everyone is born with the innate knowledge that it does. Most interestingly, after more than 2000 years, evidence continues to pile up that the New Testament of the Bible is pretty much spot on and one of the most verified pieces of history known to mankind.

yep,of course we all die..thats just common sense.thats not the issue here.its the tortuous manner in which loved ones are dying(or indeed having their lives prolonged)and the rate at which they are being afflicted.and wen theres serious, serious heavy evidence that it is thru deliberate malicious acts of conditioning and environmental alteration with intent then the "masses" shud have a real big problem with that.....but no,most are too busy arguing over the punch'n'judy show we call "politics" or cheering for their favourite bunch of meat-heads chucking a ball around.

as far as the scare-mongering and falsifying of information to promote the ridiculous notion of "over-population"...well,we'll just have to agree to disagree....that idea is as much unsubstantiated fiction and supposition as the idea that a magic man in the sky made everything and is omnipotent and all-knowing...kind of laughable if it werent for the fact that its a little TOO absurd.

there is more than enuff land, food and natural resource on this enormous planet of ours to hold well in excess of our current population...(if only it werent all in the hands of those that currently control it).

you of all people,as a believer in god, shud feel that he wudnt leave any human being on "his" creation wanting for anything in terms of natural resources,rite??...and please dont tell me "he" created or allowed for sumthing as vicious and sinister as the proliferation of cancers as a means of "population control"??

I disagree. I think any belief in an afterlife is taught or conditioned into a persons thinking.

I am curious to hear about this evidence you have that makes the New Testament "pretty much spot on". How does the general scientific community view this evidence?

Too much of an "i quit" "i give up" society. Except for technology and all other addictions. But saving lives, people don't seem to care as much.

If the world gave a damn. Cigarettes would be banned and no longer manufactured. Money addiction and everything that goes with it is more important than your lives.

You need to worry about yourself and not worry other people are killing themselves with cigarettes.  We all are going to die sometime.

If God is real and omnipotent, why didn't he give Tim Tebow the kind of career that Tom Brady has had? Or even Ben Roethlisberger?

You would think he would make one of his biggest believers a better NFL QB.

Belichick > God
Brady > Tebow

Of course we could care less if a cigarette smoker kills themselves with that particular poison.

Only problem is that the smoker wants to take other persons with him or her.

Smokers have NO concern if their habit infects others with deadly accuracy.

Luckily in my state smoking is finally banned indoors...So, horribly, when they do come back inside they bring back in the dreaded, deadly.. "third hand smoke".....(look it up on Google if you are ignorant of the term).

Yeah smokers...Try and be considerate around the non smokers...Nah,... not a chance when you are an uncontrolled junkie, addict.

I believe we can all live forever if the right medicines are made. Then we can build time machines and get our loved ones back.

I don't want to live forever if it means having to see skinny jeans come back in style one more time in my life.

Agree 100%. Huge tax revenue for Fed & State governments. NYC bans Big Gulps & salt on food but making a fortune off cigarettes, they just count the money. It's an absolute disgrace that they haven't been banned nationally. It should be as difficult to find a cigarette as it is to find a Cuban cigar. Think of the lives this would save and the medical cost reduction.
