His wife called, Mike passed last night.

I am going to fucking miss him.

He was a good guy.

So sorry to hear that.  I know you guys had got pretty close.

We had some good messages about several things from time to time, especially about buying a place in Belize.

Sadly, never could reach out to him once the messaging feature was gone on here.

He was a good guy.

Unbelievable, we were on the phone for over a half an hour this past weekend and were texting late into the night on Monday. This is gonna be hard to process. RIP Bro!!

  I am still trying to process the passing of My Dear Friend Golden Goose.

  I had so many good times with him going to the casino or Local Sportsbook here in CT.

  I just talked to him Sunday and we were planning on meeting up this week.

  This loss is really tough to take

The man was a class act solid. He put me up at foxwoods for a week would not accept a dime from me. He was good to me I will miss him a lot.

When I was away, he put money on my books accepted my phone calls. Like he became a solid brother.

Just saw this. Though I never got to meet him in person,or build a relationship like some of you, you could always tell that Goose was just cut from the right kind of cloth. Even before I was a poster, when I would just sometimes skim through the forum for a good laugh, it was always clear that he was a stand up guy. I will regret never making to the other side of the country to meet up with Goose and nature at Foxwoods but I will always consider him a friend none the less.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Never got a chance to meet him or talk to him in person, but we, had many of conversations over the years on this site about a whole range of topics. Seemed like a solid guy and I hope everyone who knew him finds peace with his passing peace

that’s nice of you and I appreciate it peace_5..  DJbrow mentioned some threads ( so want to make sure he is included ) in archives and I figured it would be cool way to honor him.  Especially the meaning of that thread. Not the news I was expecting. When I first started posting on this website here the two people I spoke with more than anyone else was Apache and Goose. Those two ALWAYS gave me straight answers and always had kind and uplifting words to share. There is a saying that states you can identify the measure of a man by how he treats those that can do nothing for him, well those two men really pushed that saying into space because I only knew them here and obviously never met them to be able to help in any way. 

 

Just the kind words they'd share and the fact they always had time to answer a question I might have meant more to me at the time than anything, those moments will always be remembered.

So much bull shit on this site but we all saw the true person The Goose was.
