Recent Posts Section On User Forum Profile Page Temporarily Disabled

As the title states, the recent posts section on the user forum profile page is temporarily disabled. We have linked some of the recent 504 errors to the Recent Posts Section and are temporarily disabling the posts from showing within the users profile page.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we expect this to return sometime next week as we work towards a permanent fix.

Appreciate the apology, but I hope your team realizes this is a major inconvenience, it certainly doesn’t feel that way from your blanket company line.  Please escalate these issues to the decision makers at Covers.  I’m certain they can’t be proud of the recent technical debacles that keep showing up.  This “covers forum” is full of IT issues.  Maybe IT Director needs to be held accountable… something 

This is still disabled I assume? Any time table?

Weeble I’ve had tremendous respect for you for over 20 years….  But knock off the ignorance. Something is happening here and do you know why they disabled this permanently?

The "recent posts" is the most usable feature of this site, 2nd to the search function that was disabled about 10 years ago. Being able to use both is paramount, although we are now used to not being able to search Covers (a feature of every forum since 1995) - at least bring back the Recent Posts. Thank you.

Ok … any chance you can escalate or put in a word for us with IT?  
Even stranger it’s apparently only happening to about 75% of the members.  “If I was hiding something I wouldn’t say anything at all” .   Thank you sir, of the Covers Team, I knew you would be straight up.   It’s certainly appreciated…take care, regards

Bizarre that rather than make progress this site keeps going in the wrong direction.

Am really surprised no conspiracy people have blamed the sports books for rigging the website. In case none of you read the post, they state that 504 error we have all been getting, which is where we cant even get on the site has something to do with the recent posts stuff.  So they disabled until its fixed, however long that takes.  Honestly i dont know why some cant understand this.  You do know none of us pay a dime to come here, yet we want everything fixed yesterday.  I would have thought the ability of not being able to get on the forum on game day would be more important then the recent posts problem for the time being. If they turn the recent posts button back on then none of us will even be able to log on, so how will the recent posts button help any of us then?
Be patient people and remember this is a free web site that provides all of us with forums, stats, scores, odds contests etc etc.  I love the recent posts feature but am not gonna lose my mind if its down until they find a solution that works

No idea what you mean by Recent posts ?? But 100% agree when the site was down during recent games it was a debacle.

My major complaint is I can no longer even see MY recent posts without going through threads. 

honestly it can’t get worse can it? 

I mean every month lately something else gets disabled and no reason or expectations on return.  

Whos running this site into the ground, and why don’t you Mods care?   Attendance in sports forum is at an all time low on views and clicks…. By a landslide.  Views would get 20+ thumbs up.   

Someone tell us something, anything ? I’m certain that these mods know much much more than they share and blame it on IT or anything else to distract us…. Mic drop

The team here has been working on a fix since yesterday for this and are hoping to have a fix in place before end of day today. It is still possible that the fix will not be ready until early next week. Once a fix is made we will be sure to update you all.
