I was wondering if you have a policy when it comes to members cooking their numbers in their records. I’m guessing that you probably don’t babysit this type of stuff. But if people are posting absurd records which are a complete misrepresentation of their capping skills which would obviously mislead others and is disrespectful to the honest cappers who post legitimate records would your team do anything about this stuff ? For example, if I posted 90 plays in a ncaab tournament thread over 9 days but only posted one record at the end of the tournament like 31- 30 and plus 230 units ( $23 000 ) , an absurd final record obviously , and also posted this record in other threads after would your team do something about this type of behaviour ?

We don't have the manpower to keep every poster honest. Action MAY be taken if one of us notices a glaring issue with a poster's records but it's basically on the individual reader to judge whether or not a poster is being truthful). Keeping in mind that this is a free-to-use site, and not a paid-for pick-monitoring service, any record that a person posts should be taken with a grain of salt.

Thx for getting back to me , much appreciated , all understandable
So it has to be a glaring issue for you guys to possibly do something . Well someone created a ncaab conf tournament only thread in 2022 , it’s on the first page in the college basketball forum at the moment. They posted over 60 plays easy in the thread , I counted them in 5 minutes , you can do it yourself , simple . The person never kept track of their wins , losses , units & $ figures , they just posted a final record after all the games were done , one week later. The glaring issue you mention is easy to recognize because the person posted a final record in that thread & posted it again in other threads which was 20-20 , + 241 units and winning $24,100
That’s absurd in my opinion. This is disrespectful to honest record keepers & handicappers and it misleads members. From what I’ve read this member isn’t exactly a solid record keeper, but that thread looks like its above and beyond the glaring term you refer to , a major misrepresentation , how can someone win $24100 if their easily missing more than 33 % of their posted plays in their final record ?
Will your team look at it ? No big deal if you don’t , man power ? And more important issues , i get it
Can any other member here go over the results and post them in the thread ?
Can members here question the member in the thread about how they got that record ?
My apologies for all the questions, I would appreciate a response to them though. Take the time you need to answer. Im done for the night , have a good one , thx again

I personally don't have an issue with someone questioning someone else's math. Posters (even myself) have made mistakes from time to time. I would suggest, however, that if you question someone, you do it in a sincere way. I've seen enough posters ask in a condescending or insulting way and/or some that border on harassment when it comes to constantly questioning another poster.
If you suspect that it's blatantly obvious, you can let us know and we can possibly look into it. The more details, the better. But I make no promises for myself or any other admin member. If we spent our days on here babysitting posters, there'd honestly be very little time to tackle the pressing issues with which we deal on a daily basis.

Thanks for the answers. I definitely agree , no way you guys should be wasting your time checking into people’s record authenticity. I guess the members here can determine who’s legit by observing & asking questions like you suggest. That being said , no one should be posting ridiculous records , human error in record keeping is understandable , but obvious record manipulation & posting large misleading cash payouts that masks someone’s true capping skills is disrespectful to other cappers , just not acceptable behaviour in my opinion. Let’snot forget that this is also basic math type stuff. I appreciate your suggestion and all the info . Thank you. Take care !

The Forums do a decent job of checking posters… just call the member out so others won’t be fooled.
