Just could not pull the trigger on ARMY. They just a bad football team that RUN RUN RUN all day with very minimal passing game. On the other hand Rutger couldnt run the ball and pass crazy offense. They have a decent passing game if they can only stop the option play i will probably pound them. No play for me just too many bettors on Rutger's nut. BOL

Rutgers , Total offense # 80---- defense # 30. Pass offfense # 85 -- defense # 68 .Rush offense # 47 --defense # 10. The offense has given up 17 sacks ,and the defense has 20 sacks.Last three games average score 24 to 17 ( didn't count Texas Southern game )

Army, Total offense # 116 --defense # 17.Pass offense # 120---defense # 21. Rush offense # 12 --defense # 34. The offense has given up 7 sacks and the defense has 18 sacks .Last three games 15 to 19.

Taking Army at home + 10 1/2.

My only play will be on the under.  Home team will try to "ball control" run, run and run..  that's their only decent strategy with their type of O.  Only possibility for over will be short field turnovers. (happens)

Taking UNDER small play, just for something to watch tonight!

GLA (what a crappy Fri night game, couldnt they muster up anything better than this?)

Do you guys notice that Army went over 20 points ONE time this season? and it was against Ball State...They do control the Time of Possesion every game however, but thats because there style of Run, Boring, Run Offense...

I liked Rutgers from the get go just because of the way they have handled Army in the past, after looking at the way Rutgers win's there games, almost 20-25% of there scoring come from Int/Fumble returns and field goals (minus there 42-0 blow out against that no name team)... There is nothing wrong with that, but Army doesnt throw the ball that often to give Rutgers that opportunity, but Army does fumble 1-3 times per game which I guess might make up for that, if they can take one back for 6, or if its in the redzone...

If Rutgers goes 3 and out on its first few opening series then thats not going to be good...

Does anyone know how good Army's defense against the Run is? Most of Rutgers recent success has come on the gound and maybe thats due to the lack of trust in there QB's as of late...And maybe with Savage, they start throwing the ball tonight, but I highly doubt it with the 100% chance of Rain...

Does anyone know how good Rutgers Run Defense is as well?

right  now its mostly cloudy.......overcast......there is no prediction of rain, but there has been on and off mist........the wind is light breeze maybe 13 MPH.........i dont see the weather playing arole.

you huys are crazy for taking army. they lost to temple last week by 13 temple is horrible. rutgers will win this one big 45 10 put it in the bag!!!! i would take rutgers at -25 army is a one dementional team rutgers shuts down the run then what does army have??? NOTHING. this game is a lock

How on Earth does Army have on day less to prepare for their own triple option threat?  Perhaps you haven't heard but new Army coach Rich Ellerson is running the triple option.

Next, most college games are played on Saturday (you may not know that) and therefore a Friday game would mean one less day for both teams regardless of when they played their last game.
