Sustaining Order - BCS Championship Game Prediction

LSU has 4 running backs with 7 touchdowns or more all averaging 4 yrds per carry. Three are avg. over 5.5 yards per carry. Thats not including JJ who obviously gave Bama problems with the option in the 2nd half of the first game, a game where LSUs hottest back at this point only had 2 carries.

As an observer of the first game do you believe that LSU shut down Richardson in the 2nd half? If LSU shuts down Richardson this time around what else do they have to fall back on? Lacy?

The intangibles in this game are undeniable.

And Bama did nothing to prove they were better, on the other hand LSU actually won the game. Kickers are part of the team. But the kicker didnt go for negative yardage in overtime, that was Bama's offense.

The problem with your senario isnt Richardson against ONE of LSUs backs. As for only one plays at a time that is correct. Only one back does, but 2 capable runners will be in at all times. JJ and one of the backs will be in the game at ALL times. So while trying the defend the edges Hillard is going to be pounding between the tackles.

I'm here for discussion now...I guess you could've taken LSU +20 and I still would've won that bet...I hate to rub it in, but we had some big talkers in this thread. I'm curious what you have to say now because you were dominated in every part of that game. Roll Tide and better luck next year.
