Seriously, how long is he going to let this train wreck keep going? Its clearly gone off the bridge. It amazes me that Luke lasted after last weeks destruction.

It's 2025 and it's ALL ABOUT MONEY. ![]()

Two college football programs made a similar decision to what McIntosh is currently considering, with one working out flawlessly and the other failing to meet expectations. These two programs are Florida State and Virginia, with Mike Norvell and the Seminoles following a similar path to the Badgers this season and the Cavaliers completely turning around their program with a hot start under head coach Tony Elliott. Virginia, instead of making a coaching change, made a clear effort to increase NIL spending, becoming more aggressive in recruiting out of high school and the transfer portal. It has proved to be successful, with the Cavaliers already bowling and in prime position to compete for the ACC, and even the College Football Playoff. Virginia's turnaround could give Fickell and McIntosh a blueprint for how to proceed.

This isn't the ACC. The Big 10 is a different animal. They are the worst team in the league. Their schedule hasn't been kind to them, but to get rolled by Iowa in a game they had circled from last year and get beat on Homecoming 37-0 was the back breaker. I can't name a player on either side of the ball and when Wisconsin was in their prime they had numerous guys going to the league and starting!

Its not only getting rolled. They were known for 2 things in recent history. Running the ball and sound defense. Both have been non-existent all year. Fickell is not a Power 4 coach. He is made for the American or the C-USA.

Wisconsin is not turning this around with Fickell no matter how much cash they throw at it.
