Unbeaten...haven't lost...beat em all....didn't choke in the 4th quarter

Relax, FSU will move up to #3 if they beat #11 GT.

While TCU will move down to #4 if they beat lowly 2-9 Iowa State.

The committee head already said that the current difference between TCU and FSU for the #3 spot is "very small".

So if FSU wins, they'll move up past TCU by facing the far superior opponent.

And FSU would move up to #2 if either Bama or Oregon loses.

Why did TCU move up to 3 in the first place? What's the rationale?...Penalize 1 team for close wins, ignore when others do the same...Alabama has to come from behind to beat their rival..they get a pat on the back from the committee, 1 point win vs. Arkansas...great job boys....TCU needs a last second field goal to beat WVU...eeks by crappy Kansas 34-30...committee just shrugs it off.

This committe is either just making it up as they go along, or they have some kind of agenda.

First, I think the committee has now began factoring in match-ups for the playoffs. They want a all southern Sugar Bowl with Bama vs FSU. And Oregon hosting the Rose vs a Big 12 team.

We shall see ccbulldog. At any rate, it DOES appear that this committee has some kind of agenda that they aren't sharing with us. Maybe they want discussion and controversy and ratings for ESPN, maybe they are trying to set matchups, maybe they are mad at the Big12 for not having a championship game...maybe they really do think Baylor's win over TCU means so little, maybe they enjoy messing with Winston and FSU. I'm having a hard time believing in a committe that puts the only undefeated team in the nation 4th. Oregon LOST to 2 loss Arizona...Alabama LOST to 3 loss Mississippi..IF FSU had lost to what would be a 10-2 Clemson or a 10-2 Louisville then we could argue over who has the best loss...but they didn't.

I don't know, maybe all of these early week rankings are just to fan the fires and get attention and in the end the committee will put in 4 conference champions.

The committee is putting who they believe are the 4 best teams in. Also if you have a loss, It does matter who you lose to. After Baylor came from behind and beat TCU at home, the next week they lose by 2 touchdowns to wvu. What's interesting is that the committee and las Vegas agree upon who the best 4 are at this immediate juncture, so that alone is telling Me they are credible. As far as FSU, they will most likely pass TCU with a good performance against g tech.

I can't see the Froggies #3 or #4 ahead of Baylor who beat them straight up. that make NO sense. FSU may be undefeated BUT have been "squeeking by". they beat Ga Tech they will be in the final four BUT will get knocked out 1st round by either TCU, Baylor OR Ohio State should they slide in

I really don't understand what all the complaining is about.  The fact that  you get in is the ONLY thing that should matter.  Like I said in a different post, if you were #1, where you obviously think FSU should be, or #4, they are still most likely going to be playing in the same place.  Jersey color would be the only difference.

Just stop with the whining, beat GT, and FSU will have a chance to shut EVERYONE up by most likely beating both Oregon and Alabama.

The only thing we're going to see is a repeat of the 2013 National Championship game if FSU meets Bama.

We're gonna have 90%+ of people screaming, "What the f*ck is going on? How can Bama be a DD favourite. Blah blah blah."

Than, Bama comes out, destroys them in the first quarter, grabs a 21 point lead, and never looks back.

What's going to happen when FSU struggles early and Bama puts up a few quick scores? Although their defense isn't as feared as it's been in eyars past, they're also not Miami , Boston College, etc.

Do people on ehre even watch games or understand power rankings, handicapping, etc? The simple answer is NO. This site is made up of about 0.5% true handicappers, and a bunch of dart throwers who think they know what they're talking about based on box scores and what they're told happened in the game.

FSU is not a good football teams. Good footballs teams don't struggle against below average ACC teams. Forget the Bama needed OT to beat LSU and a 1 point Arky win. FSU would lose numerous games having to grind out an SEC schedule. Say what you want, the athletes are bigger, faster, and overall, are just simply more dominant. Are they unbeatable? No. But to say your point is proved because the SEC teams beat the sh*t out of each other is foolish.

Throw all bias out the window and watch the game, opponents, etc. Some of the teams FSU beat by less than a core wouldn't escape an SEC schedule with a win unless they played Vandy.

BUT, as is always the case, we can specualte all we want, but the talking means nothing until they take the field. I can assure one thing though, if FSU plays Bama, there will be no FSU or ACC supporters to be found on this board after the first quarter/half.

I've said many times before and I'll say it again, any team that gets FSU the first game of the playoffs is going to absolutely plow them.

Just remember what everyone said about Notre Dame before they took the field. How they weren't being "respected" or "taken seriously" by Vegas or the people in the know. How "motivated" they would be for how some people and Vegas were disrespecting them.

I hope that Bama finished #1 and FSU finished #4, that way, both Notre Dame and FSU will have something in common.

Im surprised that Vegas would have TCU a 7.5 favorite over FSU.Really?I saw GaTech stick it to Clemson and made a great xomeback versus Ga.This will be the best team FSU has faced yet.ACC title game will be interesting.I think especially us folks here in the southeast would love to see a Bama vs FSU matchup.
