I don't think you watched the game. They moved the ball very well. There was a pick 6 that made it look worse than it was. They had a couple possessions where they went for it on 4rth down and got stopped amd didn't get points. It could have very easily gone differently and it would have vs a weak team. Such as Army will be. Their run defense got multiple tackles for loss. They are built to stop this years army team. Army is nowhere near the level of Byu. Understand now?

Then I think about this being a short week for both teams. While Army is doing the traveling here, they did come off a bye coming into last week. ECU hasn’t had a luxury of a bye yet, they are going into a bye after this week. But they are having to face an option team on a short week. That’s not generally a good thing.
And looking back over ECU the last 5 years vs Academy schools they are:
1-4 SU, 0-4-1 ATS vs Navy…3 as favs with 1 of them being as a DD fav and lost SU
0-1 SU, 0-0-1 ATS vs Army
And new ECU HC Blake Harrell was the DC for all of that, dating back to 2020.
Do you put much stock into any of that?
