Sure this might lose. Very possible. However we like the following...

Marshall home/away (neutral) splits are horrid - 6-0H and 3-4A...much different beast away from home....Maryland plays the same home and away - including a ROD STIFFENING THREE FINGER SHOCKER upset at Va Tech which say what you want is never an easy place to get a win......We also like the HC edge for Maryland - Edsall may be a bit overrated - but some extra bowl time is gonna help....Dual threat QB Brown is back....2-2 since his return....lost to Syracuse and Bost College getting pounded on the ground - played very well on the road vs NC St and Va Tech.....Marshall identity is not to kick you in the teeth with the run game for 4Q so we like this matchup....Also from watching Maryland this yr - what we liked was the number of FREAKS they have in the depth chart even after their rash of season ending injuries - i mean some of these guys are impressive - and some trained killers on D....now this is Maryland - so we understand they could #shitthebed but feel that their athletes will stand up well to Marshall - not unlike pitt / BG....The nationwide rankings in pretty much everything favor Marshall but their schedule was a lot weaker - and we are suckers for playing against the sexy QB....Also Cato only 59% completions - same as CJ Brown - but CJ Brown can move the chains with his feet and puts the C in CRAFTY. Both QBs get close to 8 yds/attempt....Brown still doing well despite losing key weapons. D makes more stops today - hopefully....and get the win.
