"Virginia middle linebacker Steve Greer is unlikely to play in Saturday night’s Chick-fil-A Bowl after recently suffering a partial ACL tear in his right knee, according to three sources with direct knowledge of the situation. Greer, a redshirt junior, was the Cavaliers’ leading tackler and a second team all-ACC selection this season."
I've learned that Greer is out for tonight's game and they'll be starting a true freshman in his place. That's a major loss for this much improved UVA team. UVA has a decent running attack, but I expect Auburn to be fully prepared to handle it and to halt any offensive production from Michael Rocco at QB. UVA does not travel well and this should be like a home game for Auburn in Atlanta. This coupled with the overall team speed and talent should be enough for Auburn to win.
