I'm pretty sure I'm about 6-1 or so on the 1st half unders. I'm not gonna dig it up to get the exact numbers, you can if you want. In fact I encourage you to, I'd love to know the exact record. I suppose 6-1 may not equate to "all season," but it's been a rather popular bet for me.

I'm leaning towards the over in this one. Izzo has said he expects louisville to press and he is looking forward to being a "race-car driver" again. Assuming Lousiville does press they may be able to force appling into some turnovers and get some easy buckets that way, plus from what I've read MSU is going to look to score when pressed, not just break the press and set up in the half court. Both teams do have great defenses, but if Lousiville wants a fast paced game the spartans won't shy away from it and I also expect a close game in which free throws could factor into the over. No real opinion on the 1st half total for me, but best of luck with your under. Hope you're right on the spartans winning easy. I think we should be able to get the W, but I do expect a close one. good luck, go green!

this louisville team is one of the most overrated in the tourney left. they just are not that good. they dont score the basketball well enough, the have no size outside of the nigerian, and they do not rebound well enough.

State Rolls here. Ville gets punched in the jaw early. Big 10 ball will beat up on the overratted Big East Cards. They were lucky to get by the Lobos. Bol.

Good stuff gollum, I did see Izzo imply he wants a faster-paced game, but I just look at the Defensive FG% by these teams and envision a slugfest. From what I've seen of Louisville, they aren't real efficient offensively, I'd imagine this MSU defense virtually swallows the Cardinals tonight. But hey, I've been wrong plenty of times before, good luck tonight and Go Green !

Thank you, I definitely lean to the FG under, I just vowed to stay away from FG unders due to the bullshit endings that have crushed me over the years. Hell, no way Saint Louis/MSU should've gone over, no way at all. But anyway, I do think you've got a winner there

I agree 100%. If I'm wrong, well then I'll be REAL wrong, but even when filling out brackets, I completely overlooked this Louisville team, never even considered them winning this game, in fact didn't even think they'd be here. Like I said, if I'm wrong, well I'm gonna be really frickin' wrong but I gotta go with my "gut"

bense, I'm backing Sparty in multiple ways today, and not only think they come through, think they eventually pull away in an embarrassing loss for both the Cards and the Big East. We could potentially see every Big East team go down today, depending if the Gators can make their 3's or not. It also could be one of the greatest days for Big Ten hoops in tournament history. Can't wait for Sparty's game in particular, and hope that Green continues his dominance on his way to a well deserved National Player of the Year Award, with his record setting 3rd triple double in NCAA Tournament history. BOL and keep the faith.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy....3 Big Ten vs Big East games tonight. I don't know if Bo and his boys can pull it off, but I fully expect MSU and OSU to advance.
Green has been unbelievable. I remember watching him play as a Freshman and noticing that he would make so many positive plays during his minutes played, it was just crazy. My buddy and I were watching a game during his frosh season and I think Green may have finished with like 4 points, 5 rebounds, and a couple of nice assists and a maybe a big block/steal.....barely even impactful numbers, and we just looked at each other and said, "that dude is gonna win a lot of games the next four years." And he has, aside from last year's internal issues with the team, he has been probably the greatest Spartan b-ball player of my lifetime. (Magic played before I was born). I just don't think the Green/Izzo era ends unless its to a vastly superior team. And the only teams that fall into that category are UNC and Kentucky, IMO.

I really like Sparty tonight as well bense...if they take care of the ball and don't allow the Ville to turn them over and get easy transition baskets, I think MSU's defense will give the Ville's offense fits in a halfcourt set, gl

Glad to hear you like all three, as they're the only three that I have advancing to the finals in my multiple brackets. IMO it's Ohio St, UNC, Kentucky, and MSU in the Final Four. I know three #1's and a #2 but it's about time it played out like that. BOL and GO SPARTY!!!!!!!!!

read this on VegasInsider Tom Izzo said Monday that he
wants his guys to play at the up-tempo pace Louisville wants to here,
just like it did against Long Island. This gameplan could lead to an
over, just like it did Friday.
