Clear round 9 for Estrada. He was really gunning for Abregu in that one. I thought in a couple of spots a trip to the canvas for Abregu may be forthcoming, he seems to have a nice set of whiskers. 6-3 Abregu here, Abregu's corner acting as if the fight is in jeopardy telling him to stop in throw.

Huge round 10 for Estrada. Wow, what a comeback in the second half of the fight by Estrada. I thought with about 40 seconds left in that one that I had a chance for the ITD miracle, Abregu looked destined for the canvas. I have it 96-94 Abregu, 95-95 would be completely legit too. I don't see 6 rounds for Estrada though.

Ridiculous scorecards, that is a complete joke. I had nothing to gain from Estrada getting a draw or what I would have considered an undeserved win and would definitely have rather had you guys win a proper nod for Abregu, but what a joke those two Abregu cards were. The Abregu scorecards are 10X worse then the card that was 96-94 in Estrada's favor. I guess the two Abregu judges had already filled out their scorecards for the 2nd half of the fight after watching the first 4 thinking there was no way that Estrada was going to make it to the final bell.

Yeah, he got a split decision nod. Scores were 96-94 for Estrada which like I said I believe is off, but not near as off as the ridiculous 98-92 and 98-91 cards for Abregu. Congrats.

...sorry bout the loss on the under there ghost...i lost 100 with the itd play. i didn't see the fight, but maybe with the right ref it could of been stopped within the first 4? don't know...
least we know abregu is not one to bet on with anyone who has a beard.
ah well..can't complain about winning some change and having the parlays furthered

Agree Ghost, the right man won, but that doesn't excuse the two Abregu cards especially the 98-91 card. I missed the name while I picked my jaw up off of the floor, but that guy should never be allowed to judge a fight outside of the Olympics where incompetence is a prerequisite.

whew... close one...remind me not to bet on these untested juice sticks in the future.
up .62 for the day...somehow, i can't celebrate...
good luck to all tomorrow
Abregu isn't terrible, but the power reflected by his KO stats is way off; Farhood's Argentinian source was spot on with that assessment. He won't ever hold even an alphabet strap, but he will be a decent journeyman and may get a couple of paydays as an opponent in Europe against a protected title holder as a mandatory if he continues to pile up wins in his home country against limited opposition. Estrada doesn't have that much pop so it may not be a legitimate take, but he does appear to have a decent chin. Estrada did land some hard flush shots with Abregu pulling straight back and none really had a huge effect. Abregu to me is one of those fighters who is average in a lot of a lot of areas, but isn't really above average in any aspect.

Nope hard to complain about profitable night, my philosophy is that a winning night is a good night no matter what the profits tally up to be.
There was never really a point in the first four where the ref could have seriously considered stepping in.
