YTD (SOCCER): 37-20-3 (BIG PLAY!!!: 12-5)
Been unable to get to posting soccer daily but will try my best to do so as I am having a sublime season. I really don't even understand how people come into the thread and tell me I'm getting crushed or citing losses when the games are actually cashing. That's been a big deterrent to consistency posting as I'm pretty sure there aren't many people who are cashing as much in this sport. But before I put my foot in my mouth I'm going to jump into the few games I like today:
OVER 3 (OLYMPIAKOS/ARSENAL): I think at WORST this game sees 3 goals but the only reason for me it's not a big play is because Olympiakos have been not very good on the road in this competition. BUT, they do seem to elevate their play against English sides I just think doing so against an Arsenal team that is locked in, despite their injury concerns, and playing at home, is a truly tough ask. I believe Arsenal will get to 3 goals as it's worth mentioning the Greek's defense is a bit leaky and so, if that's the theory, then I should surly be playing the OVER confidently here.
BARCELONA (-125)...BIG PLAY!!!: Only part that makes me nervous here is that Luis Enrique returns to Barcelona but, after all, it's not going to be at the Camp Nou where he left his mark and made history as the stadium is not yet complete. But, Barcelona are just torrid at home and Hansi Flick has an over 80% win rate in the tournament, even higher at this stage. With Yamal back from injury and having featured over the weekend, I think this game will go Barcelonas' way if only b/c of all the injury concerns on the PSG side. It's tough enough to beat Barcelona anywhere, but on the road, missing arguably your top 3 offensive forces (Dembele, Doue, Kavarshkalia) makes it even tougher.
UNDER 3 (PSV/BAYER LEVERKUSEN): There are just too many injuries at real skill positions, including offense, on both sides of the ball, to get this over 3 goals in my opinion. I know one would expect a highly open game to be played here but I believe the injuries test the teams chemistries and lead to less scoring opportunities.
NAPOLI (+107)...BIG PLAY!!!: I just have to. Sporting CP won their last game 4-1 against a severely overmatched opponent in Kairat Almaty who just got plastered by Real Madrid on their own home turf. Before then, Sporting had been on a terrible run of losses in this competition barely scoring in those games. Now they face a Napoli side that looked highly competitive in Manchester City until the red card to DiLorenzo, who will be suspended for today's game. That will be a big loss but I think they are still the better side even without him. Kevin DeBruyne will be back featuring for Napoli and his record in games played in this competition, especially at home, is off the charts good. I think he will be just the right person to help control the game and ensure that Napoli continues to keep their home a fortress of victories in this competition.
That's all I have for today, hoping this will go as well as it has previously. I'm not prone to losses, I do post a few games every time out, but just here to try and help as I make a living wagering. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
