Our crime rate is almost 10 times less than the national average according to this site.

I would put the crime stats up but that may dox myself and with all the self confessed crazed haters here would not be a good idea.

I live in rural America MAGA Country and have a FedX/UPS delivery box almost a halfmile from my home. Nothing ever got stolen. Put it up for COVID in 2020 to help the delivery drivers avoid contact. Share it with two neighbors. The drivers loved it so much it's still there. Now I here in the Atlanta area a guy is being charged for shooting two teens who were stealing packages off his porch. The news called it a "common" practice that was given the "common" name of porch piracy. So stealing is just "common" now. Not where I live. 

Florida, with 23 million residents has only 7 confirmed measles cases in 2025 compared to the state of New York that has 21 confirmed cases among their 19.5 million residents.

New Mexico leads all states with 47.39 measle cases per million residents.

Interesting,

1,108 cases of the 1,958 cases of measles in the United States for 2025 are from the four states with a southern border to Mexico.

To put things apples to apples;

Canada 2025; 1,250 measle cases per million residents.

Mexico 2025; 1,000 cases per million residents

Europe 2024; 77.4 cases per million residents.

United States 2025; 5.9 cases per million residents.

Of course RFKjr cannot take credit for being well over 12 times better than Europe, 160 times better than Mexico and 212 times better than Canada. Nor can he be blamed for the 5.9 per million. 

This just another partisan thread amongst a whole page full of partisan threads that have no logic whatsoever. 

Over a hundred times better than Mexico and 200 times better than Canada.

So you blur the line between "poster" and "mod". Maybe you should have two different login names, one as a mod responding as a mod and one as a lib, responding as a lib. 

If I were in a "leadership" role such as a mod, and I have been in several leadership roles in my careers, successful I might add, I would never interject my political views as a poster, or say, in college football. As a Michigan fan I detest Ohio State and many of their fans. As a mod I would never chastise Ohio State fans in the forums, I would moderate for the benefit of the site not satisfy myself.

That's not so with you. IMO, you are beyond one-sided and it shows. 

But like I always said, It's your sandbox, go for it.

And I am not here to lead but to express my opinion on political issues. I didn't create the thread, I responded to it. You have said so many times to stay out of others threads and here we are.

You as moderator are here to lead and I find your leanings amazingly one-sided. 48 previous fraud posts going both ways political party wise and this one is suddenly partisan and maybe racial and you found the need to continually interject.

 Well, I do. A search here in Covers, Politics section, Fraud, gives me 49 threads talking about fraud yet THIS THREAD suddenly gets your scrutiny. And it seems that Barbarosa's #9 saying the culture of Somalia is garbage was the catalyst. Your reply was to point out that white people commit fraud too and what's the outrage, Dems or Somali's. Then you go after me with, "is it that brown skin foreigners were involved". That, IMO, is the same tactic the fraudsters used to try and squash the investigation. Make it racial, hatred of foreigners. Make people uncomfortable to speak their minds.

It was huge fraud.The MSM avoided it until they couldn't. Why? Was it dems or brown skin foreigners that made them sit back? 

Now I'm reading an attorney claims massive Somali fraud in Ohio, a red state. Yeah, I'm even more upset. That's just more of my tax dollars.

In the aftermath of the massive Feeding Our Future scandal and broader allegations of systemic fraud in Minnesota’s social programs, a troubling theme has emerged: accusations of racism repeatedly used to deflect scrutiny, intimidate investigators and stall accountability. 

Rumors and reports of fraud in Minneapolis, primarily within the city’s exploding Somali community, have been circulating for at least a decade, but criticism of the fraud has been largely dismissed by elected Democrats as "racist" or being underpinned by animosity toward foreigners. News stories focused on Somali fraudsters in recent years were shot down as "racist."

"The whole story kind of died under these accusations that people were being racist," Bill Glahn, policy fellow with Center of the American Experiment, told Fox News Digital. "Oh, maybe somebody stole a little bit here, a little bit there, but there's nothing systemic going on."

Former assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Teirab, who helped lead federal prosecutions in the Feeding Our Future case, described to Fox News Digital how individuals implicated in fraud leaned on racial accusations as a shield. According to Teirab, suspects explicitly invoked race during a secretly recorded meeting with Attorney General Keith Ellison, asserting that investigators were targeting them "only because of race."

Teirab called this tactic both deliberate and cynical. In one trial, a juror was even approached with a $120,000 cash bribe, allegedly accompanied by messaging intended to frame the investigation as racially motivated. The goal wasn’t just to escape prosecution, it was to taint the system itself by threatening anyone pursuing the truth with the specter of racial bias.

"It provided cover," Teirab told Fox News Digital. "Fraudsters knew the issue of race and racism was something they could use as a cudgel… It’s disrespectful to use those terms when they’re not appropriate, especially in a case where fraud clearly happened."

This is a real problem when we get too touchy/feely. And it only waters down real racial bias. And it is the reason I posted #21.
