My book is not great for Golf but after looking over matchups leans are as follows.  Thoughts and or opinions welcome.

Leishman +163 over Garcia

Fowler +138 over Poooooulter

Angel Jimenez +150 over Haas

Woodland +115 over GMac

Schwartzel/Donald +143

I see things a bit differently so for what is worth here is my humble opinion.

Garcia is rested and coming of a win on his last appearance, I see him beating a rookie at this tourney.

Poulter loves match play and he's good at it, he should an easy time of Fowler who has missed the cut in his last 3 tourneys and has not won a first round WGC match in the past 2 years.

I'm with you on Jimenez over Haas.

Can't see Woodland who has only played this tourney once and lost in the first round to beat GMac who went deep last year and just had a 7th place finish 2 weeks ago.

I can see how you would think that about all those plays, I just feel there is a ton of value on Leishman and Woodland.  Fowler hasn't been great but neither has been Poulter.  BOL either way buds.

I think Schwartzel makes a ton of birdies this week.


You have to figure atleast 30% of the underdogs are going to win in the first round. IMO. I am just on the dogs in other spots. GL.

Piercy is very underrated and Rose is rusty and still might be a little injured.

Neither guy trailed in match till it was over, but still 0-2.  Woodland is a dunce, or his caddy is.  Either way just beyond me that he lost.

Good one....I'm rolling with him tomorrow for sure. The match today may just be what the doctor ordered for Fowler...
