Hey YANKEE QUEEN, look at you fretting about my whereabouts, poor thang` can't live without me. I get so busy with all the paper work that comes with being the commsissioner of this OFFICE POOL. I have to stay up late to record all the final scores. Then my secretary has to file those reports (only after my important signature) to WAGERLINE. WAGERLINE has to fax me back a ''STANDINGS UPDATE'' acknowledgement. I sign that document & the my secretary faxes it back to WAGERLINE. Then I have to witness the updated standings as they upload the results. If there is an error, the secretary then has to get me a sandwich (ham & rye) & we stay late to correct any errors. So far my record is PERFECT!!! No errors, no sandwiches!!!! It's quite the process, all sorts of red tape & protocol. I do it to give you peeps a venue to chat & wage on baseball games. It's a thankless job, but I love baseball. OK? O6

Hi CJAX I know you run an OFFICE POOL, you ran one last year, that's how I met ya' . Most OFFICE POOLS @ WAGERLINE are "automatic", meaning, WAGERLINE manages the pool & updates standings. When I launched the JOSE CANSECO BALCO-BOWL Office POOL, I forgot to click on the ''AUTOMATIC SCORING'' button. Thus, my pool is updated on a manual basis. Which means I have to scour the internet (mlb.com) to seek the final outcomes of all scheduled games. Then go through the whole faxing protocol that I metnioned in the previous message I posted. When dealing with the time-zones, I usually don't get to bed until 3:30 a.m. my time||sleep2.gif' border=0> And if a game is under a ''rain delay'' then HOLY-MOLY||angry.gif' border=0> sometimes I go straight to work after the final out of a rain delay. Like I said, it is a very very very thankless job. But people like you & YANKEE QUEEN & the rest of the gang here make it all worth while. My fax machine is buzzing & beeping steady.
