Great News for the Midterms

After handing billions to Argentina the Trump administration tells 7 million student loan  borrowers to pound salt and find a private lender! According to a spokesman the Trump administration is righting this wrong and bringing an end to this deceptive scheme," he said. "The law is clear: If you take out a loan, you must pay it back! When will the Trump organization pay back all of his loans; in fact, tax records show he had over $270 million in debt forgiven after failing to repay lenders for the Trump Tower Chicago project. Lenders gave him years of extensions, and a private settlement was reached, with the majority of the debt ultimately being forgiven Biden and Obama  seen these borrowers were crushed with debt and tried to help the them! On top of that people were paying on the loans, the payments were just based off their income and the interest rates were capped...The GOP will get buried in November as there no shortage of back stabbed voters!

 Those two things really have nothing to do with each other.

The currency swap comes from a separate fund altogether for things like that.

Yes, the students should pay their loans.  Just as anyone that takes out a loan for anything should pay it back.

If you cannot afford to pay it back, simply do not get a loan.  Work your way through university or go to a community college to start or a trade school.

You should not 'force' folks that paid their loans back to now turn around and pay other folk's loans for them.  

You should not 'force' folks that chose not to go to university to pay for others that do choose to go.  It is not a universal right.

I agree there is a problem(s).  

I am simply saying comparing those two things are not the best way to draw an apt comparison.  There are better things to compare the school loan problems to.

 Absolutely!   But if we’re going to throw around taxpayer money in all directions at least keep it between our borders! The decisions of the last 11 months are going to hit the GOP like a sledgehammer! Let his elected parties in the house stay the course of allowing him card blanch and executive order continue!

 Yessir, I agree with you about spending money overseas in general.

I am just saying this fund is set up specifically for things like this that involve other countries, pretty much by definition.  The upside is supposedly the USA makes money in the longterm from a deal like this.

You are correct that the GOP is behind the 8-ball in getting any messaging out ahead of the midterms.  I really expected them to attempt to get in from of them better than they have.

Perhaps they plan on getting a campaign on messaging going at the beginning of the year.
