This is without a doubt the worst I’ve seen when they put women on play by play PLEASE STOP.. DO WOMEN SPORTS now we reinvent the wheel again sucks! 
WHERE IS DOC EMERICK WHEN WE NEED HIM! Say what u want but screw us guys who grew up with great men commentators calling men’s games! I have no disrespect toward women but stay in ur lane especially when we have SEAN McDONOUGH AND EDDIE O and many more great men that played or done these games but now it’s all about women’s rights screw the men!  I know my comment make me sound like I don’t like women to succeed but that’s not true believe me the better my wife does the better me and my family do as well right! I’m old school and I just want to watch a game of men’s hockey, football, basketball or baseball play by play or color guys to be just that MEN! I don’t think it’s wrong I believe that and I appreciate u understanding! I know it’s 2024 but it’s worked fine for the past 100 plus years when MEN WERE MEN ok enough said!

 I get what you’re saying. I actually don’t like it either, not because they’re women, but because most women I listen to aren’t as good as the men. If you’re a woman and a great commentator, I hope to hear you calling a game, but the one’s I’ve seen are just not as good as the men I’ve seen. Best person should do it and gender should be irrelevant.

2 things -

1) Women sell -> go on YouTube see how many use thumbnails of women (not even being in the video or Twitch where 100s of women have made careers on the sole fact that they are hot - like it or not - I think it's fine - they basically just use the fact that men are horny idiots

2) If you have any product at all that can be sold to both genders - you are an idiot not to do so - and there is a greater chance that women will want to watch if there is someone on there they can relate to rather than just 3 neerdy guys.

I agree.  I don't want to listen to women call men's games, especially in sports they've never played themselves.  Women calling football is ridiculous.  If I watch a womens sporting event, I expect a woman to call the game - fine.  But as it stands now, many of the games I watch are on mute.  Like the Eastern Conference Finals - I'm not listening to anything Doris Burke has to say about anything.
