aside from the fact this carolina franchise has lost 13 conf final games in a row now is it?  shooting that puck into marchand was a) dumb.. lets piss off a team thats better then us and b) tells me florida (in game 1 no less) is already  in their heads.  regardless of tonight i think this is a quick series. im riding florida every game. florida s the dog and carolina is the pumpkin. florida forechecks like a  bunch of fckin pit bulls. they impose their will on you till you surrender. its a beautiful thing and carolina will have no answers for it. its going to take another pit bull and that aint the canes.

But how many road games in a row can they keep skating around like pit bulls? They’ve been expending loads of energy to drub the Maple Leafs in Games 5 and 7 and then the Hurricanes in Game 1.

 I listen to NHL radio on Sirius all day long. A Canes fan called in today and stated, "Canes do not have the size to keep up with Florida. Live, the Florida players are huge and just inflict punishment"

So I don't know if they really want to go 5 v 5, but I do expect chippiness. 

They roll out 4 lines and 6 Dmen and all are contributing. They also have a great goaltender. They swept Carolina 2 years ago in the same scenario and have a better team now than back then. Freddie will have to stand on his head for the Canes to have any chance.
