Couldn't stay away with all the wheeling and dealing going on. 

Congrats to the Panthers...didn't think they could keep Bennett, Ekblad and Marchand but damn if they didn't. Don't like giving Marchand a 6 year deal at 37 years of age, but he probably has 2-3 good years left. 

Marner going to VGK's? Have my concerns. Vegas plays that big, bruising game and Marner is far from that, but him and Jack will be a lethal combo. Glad Knies got what he deservered. That kid will be a star before it is over. 

Anyone want to answer why Stars want to go back to Gulutzan? Can't figure that one out. 

Draft this past weekend? Eh, nothing special. 

Still 3 months to go and I can't win a baisbol to save my freaking life. Did win 2 CFL bets this past weekend. Maybe I will stick to that. 

As stated in another thread there's a big advantage to Florida and Vegas because of the lack of State Income tax. That's a big bonus to to keeping and signing top talent. I'm not surprised at all that Marner is with Vegas.

Hey GA how do you handle the heat in Georgia! AC would be my guess. Over 88 for 32 days in kelowna this summer. Add another 10 days now in a heatwave. 

Boldy..went to a high school football game last week. Feel like temp was 104. 3 cheerleaders needed transporting to ER due to heat illness. It is just a way of life around these parts. You hydrate, hydrate and hydrate....feels like Fall today..78 degrees. Hope you are well and survive that heat. 

Kings aren't going to the finals. Defence is going to take a hit, Ceci contract is ridiculous and although Kuemper had a fantastic season I do think it was a bit of a outlier, no way he pulls off a 2.00 GAA again. 

And then again ........... they'd have to get by the Oilers
