Hard night to figure out. So far both teams at a rest disadvantage (playing their 4th game since Xmas) lost earlier (WAS and NYI). That doesn't mean every team at a rest disadvantage will lose but it's worth factoring into the decision-making process. The rest of the teams that will be playing their 4th game since Xmas break: WPG, TOR, DET, CAR, CHI, TB and NAS.
I lean Montreal with 2 out of 3 top point scorers out for Carolina but the Canes have won 12 in a row at home vs. Montreal and I don't like betting against a streak.
Also lean Toronto but I'm never on the right side of Leafs games. Pass
Going to stick with:
DAL in regulation (-110) 2.2 units to win 2. This has to be a get right game for Dallas. I bet against them last night because Buffalo is on a heater, but the Hawks are not. Yeah, the Hawks beat them a few days ago but I'm skeptical about it happening twice. The Hawks have lost the last 6 games Knight has started, 5 of them in regulation. This is also the 4th game since Xmas for Chicago which should even the fatigue situation of Dallas on a back to back.
SEA ML (-105) 2.1 units to win 2. Nashville has been playing great but I'm going with the more rested team at home. Nashville is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, all on the road while Seattle has had 2 days off without travel. They're also showing signs of playing a little better, winning 4 of their last 5.
