Worst night of the year so far. Researched 4 strong trends and all 4 lost, which happens to a trend eventually. I just didn't expect them to all end on the same night lol. Hopefully I can figure out how to limit the eventual bad days after 3 days of winning.
Back on the horse.
Parlay COL/TB ML (+118) 2 units to win 2.36. Square play but my numbers favor both teams, so I have to keep faith in the numbers I use.
Parlay TOR +1.5/CHI +1.5 (+203) 2 units to win 4.06. Chicago has been strong covering the +1.5 and LA has been weak covering the -1.5. And I've written extensively about the Canes inability to cover the -1.5 in Freddy Anderson starts.
STL/BOS Under 5.5 (-110) 2.2 units to win 2. The under 5.5 is 7-1 in the Blues last 8 road games. Both offenses are struggling lately and I don't see a reason that trend won't continue.

Tampa is playing better both offensively and defensively than Pittsburgh over their last 10 games. Also, most people don't realize TB is 15-4 over their last 19 games...after a 1-6 start they have been one of the best teams in the NHL.
TB went 3-0 against the Penguins last season, suggesting they may match up well against them.
Pittsburgh has the #1 power play, but Tampa Bay has the #1 penalty kill so I think that should neutralize the Penguins power play advantage.
Those are the main reasons. Now does that mean TB is guaranteed to win? Hell no. TB has been overachieving lately, and Pittsburgh has been underachieving. That trend could reverse at any moment. Pittsburgh is also 8-2 in games that Tristan Jarry starts, and the Penguins do have the #1 power play. If Pittsburgh can force Tampa Bay into a defensive slugfest like the Islanders just did, I can see a path to victory for the Penguins.
But the bottom line is, trying to guess when the team that's on a 15-4 run will come down to earth against a team that's lost 6 of their last 10 games is very difficult. And it's been a minute since the Bolts lost back-to-back games. But play what you want! I just like to provide info for the forum, whether that's agreeing with my thoughts or being on the other side. Good luck either way
