Got lucky hitting my bigger bet Saturday and passed on yesterday's card.
On to Monday. One pick riding the streak, one pick betting against a streak.
BUF ML (-118) 2.36 units to win 2. Something is obviously clicking with Buffalo. Over their 8-game win streak the Swords are averaging 3.4 goals per game while allowing 1.9. This isn't sustainable, but I don't think the Blues are the team that's going to stop the streak either.
WPG ML (-102) 2.04 units to win 2. The Jets have been on a horrible 3-14 run, but I think this is a spot that they can get on track. They'll be out for blood after choking their last game away and they'll be catching the Oilers at a bad time. Jarry has been put on IR for a few weeks and that leaves the Oilers vulnerable. The Oilers are 2-7 in Pickard's last 9 starts and he has a 3.89 goals against average in that stretch.
