Minnesota Wild @ Calgary Flames

Minny only @-120?I'm on this one. BIG.-Better overall record-Better road record against Calgary's home record-They played last night and dismantled the Oilers while using their backup goalie-All-star Dubnyk better than anything the Flames can offer in net.-Before the break Calgary was Strug-a-ling big time keeping the puck out if their net, now the high scoring Wild come in with tonnes of confidence-Two games this year so far had the Flames winning both (close games), I see the Wild coming in highly motivated in not losing again to these guys and sweep both games in Alberta on back to back nights. Any angles out there that point to Calgary winning this that I can't see?

Don't be so fast here guys, the Flames have already beaten them twice this year. I like the under much better here, neither game went over the total. Dubnyk played very well in both losses to the Flames this year. Yes he lost both games against them. Looking for Elliott to be able to keep the Wild at 2 or less goals tonight. Also the Wild are on the backend of a B2B so look for the 3rd to be a geared down period for them.

Normally when these heavy favorites are at such small juice something is up. yes, I can easily see Minni winning 4-1. But vegas ALWAYS has the upper hand. Look at the Caps last night at about the same odds. They lost 3-2. Good Luck either way. I like Minni TT o2.5 personally.

I love that Cal has already beaten them twice this year tbh. Wild will not be taking Calgary lightly, and I'm not too sure if Elliot can keep Minny at bay Lipps, surprisingly The Wild are a top 3 in the whole league in goals scored (as opposed to every other yr in their existence)If I lose betting on a good team I can live with that, hate betting on bad teams and wondering to myslef at the end of the night..... Great thread... wish we had more 15-20 post threads going back and forth discussing a game then the usual 20 posts that say "WEDS PUCKS" and are just some dudes picks.

We all need to post picks... I get that. But REALLY love when these game handicapping posts come together. I think the dialog benefits us all.

The Wild are the team responsible for the repeated hand slashes that broke Johnny Hockey's hand. The Flames 'toughness' has come into question as of late.

I expect a tough, grind it out with plenty of PIMs if the Wild try anything tonight. Flames win.

Wild and over 5 is the mothership fellas. I could care less what happened long time back. Look at the now! Literally only 4 games have stayed under 5 since November. Wild have only lost 3 games in Reg since Start of Dec and are scoring goals like nobody's business. Wild continue you that tonight especially with Dubs back in net

Anyone know where I can find a trend of how many goals the Wild score on the road? I know its probably a lot but looking at a Race to 3 goals bet paying @+145 which seems pretty juicy to me.

Liking all the love for my Wild. Everything on the recent stats says the Wild should win this game handily and be scoring at will, I would just say- Don't get greedy. That +255 to +265 PL like awfully tempting, and could very well hit. HOWEVER, As we've all heard time and again- Vegas and the Books aren't in business because they lose money. Westgate Superbook had the PL opening at +240 and NOW WITH 96% ON THE WILD -1.5, THE LINE HAS GONE TO +265  Think about it- If you were getting 96% of the people buying something you were selling, would you drop your prices by 10%  . Same thing with the "EASY OVER". The over is set at 5, and 84% are betting the over. Wouldn't it make sense to raise it to 5.5 if you had that many betting on the over 5 . I HATE UNDERS, and I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling this is going to be one of your typical 3-2 type games.Good  Luck All and GO WILD
