Has anyone seen a player miss such a wide open net? He had the entire net and chose to shoot at the far end in the only space Holtby could get his stick on it? This is equivalent to missing a layup with no defender behind you. Any chance Vegas had of winning tonight just went out the window with that blunder.

That was just awful, how do you miss that being a professional hockey player? Absolute trash. Congrats to the Caps, not even they can blow this now.

Lightning did the same exact thing game 7 and then went on to be blown out.Def been done before recently vs the same team.
