I would hedge enough to get back that 1K on the NBA back. Then your worst case scenario would put you back to scratch and your best would net you almost 2K.
I don't think its a slam dunk Pit survives...especially if Ottawa can get a 1-goal lead.

I don't think anyone here (that knows hockey and looked at this game objectively) would be surprised if the Senators beat the Pens in a close game. Anything can happen in a Game 7. If Anderson stands on his head and gives the Sens a chance, an upset could happen.
Last time, I suggested to let it rise, but I would consider going with the hedge this time. That's just me. I don't have the nuggets to leave some guaranteed money on the table with the chance to potentially to win more

BOL with whatever you decide Double.
I am rooting for the SENS for the first time in my Life
Difficult after attending Sabres game in Ottawa 10+ years ago = Some coward spit on the MRS, and I went bezerk . ... I should have been arrested but the Police there were very understanding ...
I drafted Anderson on Fantasy squad late in a $500 entry fee league after hearing about his Wife's battle . Rooted for them often with no Money involved while watching their games ..
ALSO SICK AND TIRED of seeing SID Hoisting the CUP
Thanks for dropping by and helping out ....
$800 ML on the SENS TONIGHT IT IS

Smart, somewhat wishing I didn't hedge out my series bet on the Sens but if Pitts wins I'll be happy I did. It's a tough one tonight, I have a feeling the Sens will surprise again as they have the entire playoffs but Pens are hard to beat at home and are something like 12-2 after a loss in the playoffs under Mike Sullivan. Going to be a fun one. Took the money I'd make off my Pitts hedge if they win and put it on the Sens to win the cup. At +600 this opens up a lot of opportunity should the Sens pull the upset. BOL!

Even though it seems humorous to hedge a $30 bet because let's face it, most of us here have more than that on the line any given night...when you place some of these longshot odds picks and you are 1 game away from it hitting (a yes/no proposition), it's not about the $30 anymore, it's about the almost 3K payout. That's the money that is sitting on the table! Well at least half of it anyway, especially when you can hedge out the other side at well over plus money.
Darn right hedge was the move here! Congrats DoubleUp, now sit back with a few cold ones and enjoy the fruits of your labour!

Nice bet there brother! You wil remember that for a long time!!!!! I made a 10 team parlay in MLB about 4 years ago for 500$ and it paid 10K! Hit it and my bookie was sick to his stomach when he came to pay me out! I still remember every minute of it. It was 10 games all on a Saturday and I was tracking all the games at my now deceased grandothers bday party! It was incredible. I have never layed a parlay like that since!

I have a similar story except it was a $500.00 7 Team Parlay on Sportsbetting.com (7 was the Max parlay with those guys). I had everything from ML, point spreads and Totals on the Pro-Bowl, NCAAM and NCAAW Basketball and the NBA thrown in there.
Came down to the Knicks game starting at 1:30 (westcoast trip obviously) and I ended up winning a little over $7k by 1 am the next day. Great day!

Yup! We all remember those big scores! I remember I had an over 7.5 in there and it was 2-2 after 9 innings and I thought I was sunk! Walk off grandslam to put the total over for me! That's just pure luck! I took Nash series here, only my second series bet in post season! Other was Ottawa Boston at +150! I think Nash is the real deal and I don't know how pit will fair against this beast!
