What a day for overs yesterday.
Today I am going to take the O5.5 -120 action in the early game. 3:07 start time for VGK/STL. Hopeful the scoring continues, and we get over the total quickly. 5.5 is a lower number than we have been seeing lately and is typically my target play anyway. The downsides are VGK AVG just above 2GPG OTR and STL AVG just above 2GPG @H so we will need some scoring to open up to cover but that's why we are getting the lower pregame total. If the scoring doesn't start right away a 2-2 game may be in the cards at which point waiting for the live play on the O4.5 is also recommended. TrackerA has this game as an Over play at 62%. The number 2 ranked Over for the day (behind MIN/ANA). However, TrackerB shows the game at only 50% ranked 3 out of the 4. However, the historical data between the teams is fairly good. 4 of the L5 meetings between these two teams have gone O5.5. 3 of the L5 1P O1.5. VKG 5 of L5 games have gone O5.5. MIN 4 of L5 games have gone O5.5. Sometimes early games can be tough to get legs moving but I am hopeful the history plays out in our favor and the O5.5 covers easily.
I have played the pregame line just in case there is early scoring given the 1:00 pm MST start time. If I get the chance, I will play the O4.5 live as well at +100 or better as a hedge or possible shot a double win (or double loss depending on how the game plays out, I am aware).
