Live betting is not the way to go. Any time I've done it I've almost always lost. And usually as soon as I submit the bet my team will turn it over or something.

Betting halves is also another thing most bettors should avoid IMO. So doing both at once is double bad unless you think you really can outsmart the sophisticated algorithms books use. It's very easy to overreact to what you see on TV and then as soon as you do bang the momentum shifts.

I honestly don't know any live bettors who are winners. It's a very slippery slope. Most guys I know who do it are half the time trying to buy out of their pregame bet because it's losing. Then you get opened up to brutal middles or end up with 5 bets on one game and you just won't make a profit doing that.
