Why Would Bucs Go For 2?

20-13 they go for 2 and don’t make it instead of going up 8 with an extra point. Now a niners td is a tie game make it make sense. There is none.

- To go to 2 two scores with the worst case scenario being up 7 still. 

- Early in the game

- penalty made it an easier attempt

another stupid call.  I get it go for 2 but now you get nothing.

Yea I saw that and was wondering.

Guess they figure they're up 7 even if they fail, if they convert then they would be up 9 meaning SF can't go for a 2pt conversion and tie it up later, that they'd need a TD and a FG.

Still kinda random/dumb imo though

Being up 8 has it's benefits too
