Why did I bet the over?

All prime-time games, Sunday-Monday-Thursday night games, are the closest to a lock as anything the last couple of years.

But degenerate gambler me bets the over tonight only to have the Cowboys not kick a FG to give me a shot at over 52.5

I deserve to lose.  

Schottenheimer sucks.  He really really sucks.  Already cost his team 6 pts tonight 

Never again  ... if I can't bet under on these games, I will just not bet.  

I feel the same, so last night game I finally took under and the commanders down 31 points late in the 4th quarter, kept all their starters in to try to score a TD to make the game go over which caused their QB to get injured. 

There's always Akron for early CFB degenerate scratch n sniff.

Marty Schottenheimer would turn over in his grave if he saw his son going for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal!

 No shit Marty always went for the points unlike Junior Schottenheimer or Jim Hardballs going for it on 4th down and risking taking points off the board.

well first, get rid of that attitude and reframe this as a positive, it was a sound bet.

1) Neither of these teams have been very solid defensively

2) Beef Brisket has always been a solid game manager and probably a better fit for this AZ team.

3) Dak will either be solid from the gate Mr.  Garbage time.

So everything you'd look at would suggest the over.  Guess what, the points were there either via kick or of they converted and punched it in.

People focus too much or only on outcome which is exactly that and beyond control.  It was a good bet that didnt fall your way this time or 52% of the rest of the time.
