 It’s a yards per point system, based off each team’s previous game stats.    It’s a work in progress.   Last week I only had one play, eagles over G-men.   I need more action than one game per week, so I just made some adjustments to allow for more plays, we’ll see how it goes.

But I just found a flaw with the system, so proceed with caution if tailing

So, I was having some success using a weighted yards per points system I created.  Even tho I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks, the system has produced a 26-13 record for this entire season.    That’s pretty good.

yesterday I did some research, and checked this systems results for the 2023 season, to see if results were comparable.

In 2023 combined record of weeks 2-9 was 31-15, very similar to this seasons results.  A winning percentage in the high 60s

but then….there was a reversal.    In weeks 10-17, the same system went 17-26.    Not good

moral of the story……methods used to pick winners in one part of the season may not work later in the season

I will keep investigating to find winning formulas

 Nice day so far, but not sure this system is reliable for the second half of the season.   Need to do more research before I post again
