Jets at 5-4 are the leaders for the 2nd wild card after many of their competition for that playoff berth lost last week. So they have a lot to play for and Buffalo on the other hand has nothing to play for. The Jets are coming off a bye. Looks like Santonio Holmes and Kellen Winslow are ready to play again. The Jets sacked EJ Manuel 8 times the last time they played. Manuel looked horrible last week in his first game back from the injury. In his first game against the Jets , Manuel went 19 out of 42 which is a putrid 45% completion rate. I have no idea who is going to play wideout for the Bills this week. Robert Woods is definitely out. Stevie Johnson it doesn't look good. Probably TJ Graham who is horrible and Marquise Goodwin. Chandler the TE will probably get a lot of looks if Manuel has time to throw. The Jets are # 1 in the NFL against the run giving up 74 yards per game so it's not going to be easy for Spiller and Fred Jackson.
Buffalo has given up 21 passing TD's the most in the league and about 239 passing yards per game. They have 13 interceptions best in the NFL.
The Jets have given up 17 passing TD's and 251 passing yards per game. They have only 5 interceptions on the season.
Chris Ivory rushed for 139 yards vs New Orleans in the last game the Jets played before their bye.
Geno Smith played his 2nd best game of the season against Buffalo they first time they played if you go by QB rating. He had about a 90 rating with 2 TD's and 2 INT's and his largest passing yards total of the season by far with 331 yards.
Holmes who I mentioned is back this week had 154 receiving yards and 1 TD versus the Bills the first time. Stephen Hill had 108 yards and a TD.
I'll take the JETS plus 1. There's a lot to like. Seems like the Bills are in much worse shape right now.

E.J. Manuel completed 22-of-39 passes for 155 yards, one touchdown, and an interception and rushed twice for 17 yards in Buffalo's Week 10 loss to Pittsburgh.
Manuel was brutally ineffective in his first game back from a six-week knee injury, missing receivers high and wide and often looking tentative in the pocket against a poor Steelers defense. Pittsburgh wound up sacking Manuel three times. Rex Ryan's defense sacked him eight times in their early-season meeting.

Asked if Manuel's struggles are testing the patience of veteran players around him -- something that wide receiver Stevie Johnson suggested earlier Monday -- Marrone didn't hesitate in his response.
"Yes," he said.
However, he feels that the locker room is still on the same page, buying into the need to bring Manuel along, bumps in the road and all.
"Absolutely," he said. "If they’re not [on the same page] then they shouldn’t be here."
Second-year wide receiver T.J. Graham played nearly every snap in Sunday's loss but finished with just one catch for 5 yards. Asked about Graham's performance, Marrone placed some of the blame on Manuel.
"We have to get him to play better. We see and we know, as we say every day, this is a quarterback driven league," Marrone said. "You look at the teams where the starting quarterbacks are out or the quarterbacks that are titled non-franchise quarterbacks, those teams struggle to win. We’re building a franchise quarterback and that’s what we’re trying to get done."

The Jets and SD are the two teams I find hardest to get on the right side of so beware my belief that NYJ are the obvious pick here. I see no reason to pick Buffalo without the spread even helping it.

I got Buffalo here. Not my fav pick on the board. My numbers say the value is with the home team. Jets are hot and cold just like the Bills. Both qb's are young yet talented. It can take a while to shake the rust off. Remember EJ was out for a qtr of the season after playing pretty well. Marrone is right if guys are pissed cause EJ struggled oh well, would they rather Fitzpatrick come back, Thad Lewis, maybe Jeff Tuel is their preferred option lol? This game is a coin flip regardless.

I like your analysis as you definitely bring up good points. But I think Buffalo grabs the W here. They've been very tough to play against at home. This is their second last home game and they're due for a home win. Geno Smith is a turnover machine on the road. It's brutal that Woods is out. Hopefully Stevie Johnson plays.
But the Bills have a legit defense and I think they step up in this one and force a few TOs en route to a FG win. The Bills are one of my favourite plays this week but we'll see what happens.

You like the most inconsistent team in the NFL to win on the road this week? Just look at Geno's game logs from week to week, lol.
The Jets have 5 wins , the Bills have 3 wins, who's more consistent? And they beat New Orleans and New England in two of their last 3. Not too shabby.
I agree that Geno Smith is crap too but like I said at the beginning he did play fairly good against Buffalo the first time around, better than Manuel did. It was Smiths' second best game of the season. Smith didn't get sacked 1 time in that game. Manuel got sacked 8 times.

Cant you see pattern... Smith has a good game bad game good game bad game lol since he had a good game against Saints, he is bound to shiet the bed in Buffalo this time around ;) nice logic isnt it?
