PACKERS -3 vs. Redskins - Both teams were impressive in Week One. I think Green Bay's defense, already good, could be elite with the addition of Micah Parsons, and they'll put pressure on Jayden Daniels. But this line dropped down from -3' due to the Packers injury concerns on their offensive line. Neither RT Zach Tom (oblique) or LG Aaron Banks (groin, ankle) practiced yesterday and will be gametime decisions as to their availability. They've also got two backup linemen on IR for a few more games and another out for the season. Points could be hard to come by for BOTH teams. Slightest of leans to the Packers at this number.

RAVENS -11' vs. Browns - Both teams lost games they should've won last week. The Browns held Cincinnati to just 141 total yards, including just seven yards in the second half, but a missed extra point, a missed 36 yard field goal attempt and a pair of Joe Flacco interceptions sealed their doom in a 17-16 loss. The Ravens blew a 15 point fourth quarter lead to lose at Buffalo, 41-40, becoming the first team in NFL history to lose when scoring 40 or more points and rushing for 235 yards or more. I don't like playing big favorites in the NFL, but it feels like the Ravens should win by a couple TDs.
BENGALS -3' vs. Jaguars - The Bengals are now 2-11 SU in their first two games of the season under Zac Taylor, including 0-7 ATS as a pick or favorite. The Jags had an easy time of it last week with a convincing 26-10 win over Carolina, but their rebuilt defense could be tested here. Joe Burrows and company can't be as bad as they looked in Week One.....can they?
COWBOYS -4' vs. Giants - Dallas has won 15 of the last 16 meetings, and will have had three extra days to prepare for this one after playing well in a 24-20 loss at Philly last Thursday. The Giants were outgained by 201 total yards in a 21-6 beatdown at Washington. Russell Wilson was horrible, completing 17 of 37 for 168 yards, and could get a quick hook if he gets off to a bad start here. Leaning Cowboys in this one, but Giants rookie QB Jaxson Dart could be the wild card. He had a strong preseason and could provide a spark if he has to come in.
LIONS -6' vs. Bears - Detroit's offensive line, with three new starters, was dominated in Green Bay by a fierce Packers defense. The Lions also clearly missed OC Ben Johnson, now HC of the Bears, and DC Aaron Glenn, now with the Jets. Chicago blew a 17-6 fourth quarter lead in a 27-24 home loss to the Vikings on Monday night. As good as a coordinator as Johnson was with the Lions, he looked lost on the sidelines as a head coach when Minnesota was making its' comeback. And QB Caleb Williams started hot, but fizzled late. I never have liked his body language. I do like the Lions here at -7 or less, as they've won and covered their last ten after a loss.

Agree with Caleb body language. Seems like someone who has always won at every level and now with adversity just shrugs it off. Mentally he tells himself great but when things go wrong he probably blames others and pouts. On hard knocks he refused to sing the rookie song, what kinda teammate are you? Gave his O lineman some cheap gift at the end of the season.. strange guy

DOLPHINS -2' vs. Patriots - Miami has won and covered nine straight meetings in this series, but they looked horrible in Week One, getting hammered at Indy, 33-8. Plus they're banged up on their offensive line with two starters and two backups out. The Pats are off a home loss to the Raiders, and now will have to battle the heat and humidity of South Florida.
49ers -3 at SAINTS - Tough game to cap with all the injuries on both sides, especially the MASH unit that is San Francisco's offense. Mac Jones gets the start at QB in place of Brock Purdy (toe) for the 49ers, who are also running out of receivers with TE George Kittle now sidelined (hamstring). Back to back road games for the Niners who are off a win at Seattle with another divisional showdown with Arizona on deck.
Bills -6' at JETS - Buffalo scored three times in the last four minutes to stun Baltimore, 41-40, in a Sunday night thriller. Can they get back up to face a Jets team that took Pittsburgh down to the wire last week in a 34-32 loss? It's worth noting that the Flyboys outgained the Steelers by 123 total yards, and rushed for 182 (4.7 YPR) while the Bills allowed 238 yards on the ground to the Ravens (8.2). It's also worth noting that QB Justin Fields was 16 of 22 for 218 yards and ran for 48 more in a losing effort. The Bills could have their hands full here.
STEELERS -3 vs. Seahawks - Pittsburgh might have escaped with a win but they have a lot to clean up. They couldn't run the ball (53 yards, 2.7 YPR) couldn't pass protect (four sacks allowed for 26 yards in losses) and on defense they allowed almost 400 yards. But QB Aaron Rodgers was money, going 22 of 30 for 244 yards and four TDs. Seattle was 4-1 ATS as a road dog a season ago. Tough call.
Rams -5' at TITANS - The Rams had their hands full with a tough defense during a 14-9 win over Houston, and now they go on the road to face another tough defense. In fact, only Super Bowl champ Philadelphia gave up fewer yards than the Titans a season ago, and last week they forced four turnovers in a hard fought 20-12 loss at Denver. Rookie QB Cam Ward struggled as expected, completing 12 of 28 for 112 yards, and he was sacked six times. This is Tennessee's home opener and the Rams better be ready to play. This won't be a gimme.

CARDINALS -6' vs. Panthers - Carolina's run defense was historically bad last season, allowing close to 180 yards a game (5.2 YPR), and after one week doesn't appear to be any better. They allowed the Jaguars to run for 200 yards (6.3 YPR) in a 26-10 loss in J'ville, and now hit the road again for Arizona's home opener. The Cardinals rushed for 146 yards (5.4) in a 20-13 season opening win at New Orleans. The game plan seems pretty straightforward here. The Cards are my eliminator pick this week and I feel they win this game by at least a couple TDs.
Broncos -2' at COLTS - The Colts turned in an impressive 33-8 beatdown of the Dolphins in Week One. QB Daniel Jones went 22 of 29 for 272 yards, and Indy outgained Miami, 418 yards to 211. They'll face much tougher defense this time around with the Broncos coming to town. Denver was in a dogfight with Tennessee last week, leading just 13-12 going into the fourth quarter before pulling away for a 20-12 win. QB Bo Nix struggled, completing 25 of 40 passes for just 176 yards with two interceptions. He also lost a fumble. Feels like a low scoring affair. Kinda like the Colts here.
Eagles -1' at CHIEFS - The Eagles thumped the Chiefs, 40-22, in the Super Bowl and it wasn't that close. I'd really like to take KC here to get revenge, but Philly will have had three extra days to prepare, having played last Thursday night, and the Chiefs are running out of receivers, having lost Xavier Worthy in last week's loss to the Chargers. With Jalen Royals also out, and Rashee Rice on suspension, Travis Kelce figures to get a lot of attention from a stout Eagles defense. Still, it wouldn't shock me to see Mahomes pull a rabbit out of his hat.

VIKINGS -3 vs. Falcons - The Falcons outgained the the Bucs by nearly a 100 yards and lost, 20-17, last Sunday. The Vikes had just 85 yards through three quarters and trailed by 11 points, before rallying to an unlikely 27-24 win at Chicago on Monday night. Beware of a home favorite off a Monday night win on the road, playing a team off a tough loss, with an extra day to prepare. I'm not playing this game, but I will say Minnesota wasn't as good as their record last season. Despite being 14-4, they were just 8-10 ITS. That'll catch up to them at some point. Maybe in this game.

TEXANS -2' vs. Buccaneers - The Bucs may have been outgained by 98 yards in their 23-20 win in Atlanta, but their run defense was rock solid, holding the Falcons to just 69 yards on 28 carries, and Baker Mayfield made the big throws when it mattered with three TD passes. The Texans' rebuilt offensive line is a work in progress, allowing C.J. Stroud to be sacked three times in a 14-9 loss in L.A. to the Rams. But newly acquired Nick Chubb gave their run game a bit of a boost with 60 yards on 13 carries. Defenses should dominate in this one.
Chargers -3' vs. RAIDERS - The Bolts ended a seven game losing streak to Kansas City in Week One, with a 27-21 win in Sao Paulo. Now they're on the road again but they'll have two extra days to prepare for this one. The Raiders look much improved, and are off a 20-13 win at New England last week. They'll try to get rookie RB Ashton Jeanty untracked this week, which takes on more importance if TE Brock Bowers is unable to play (knee).
