Any given Sunday I like my chances with Denver and Chicago at home going against 2 rookies making their first career NFL start on the road.

NFL is the sharpest market in US sports, probably followed 2nd to only EPL soccer in world wide sports. If you think you have an edge in the NFL (or any sport for that matter), best to player early as the closing lines are darn sharp. I won't be playing teasers too often anymore, but feel like there's some value week 1. The books have adjusted. If I remember correctly, not too long ago 6-pt teasers were +100, followed by 6.5pt -110, and 7pt -120. I think a few years ago the books moved those 10 cents, and yet again another 10 cents this year. Yikes. Eagles went from -7 to -8, -8.5 after the Cowboys Parson's fallout. Bronco's have jumped to 8 at most books. Rookies can win in their 1st start historically, but going into Denver (one of the best defenses in the league) for his 1st start is a tough ask. Turnover and special teams are game changers, and if Bo Nix takes care of the ball, Denver should win. I think on MNF I think we have two teams headed in opposite (Minnesota down, Chicago up) directions this season.

You're saying I can't beat a 2.4% hold $100k limit spread?!?!? But I watch football every week!!
Another angle is to play teasers as close to kick-off as possible to maximize the value of your points you buy. Playing early induces risk too but both have pros/cons.

The books are very good at what they do. They have an army of resources at their disposal, while most of us are on our own doing this as a part time gig.

Caleb Williams and the Bears almost took a dump on the teasers.
Losing QB and a losing organization the Bears are. JJ McCarthy looked liked a deer in headlights for 3 quarters, then the Bears make him look like Josh Allen tearing up the Ravens late on SNF. Prime time games bring out all sorts of drama of craziness.
