YTD (NFL): 27-34-1 (BIG PLAY!!!: 7-13-1)
Going to keep plugging away. I had bought the half point on the total on MNF but kept it as anther half point loss, lots of them on the big plays. If you take away the 2 unit losses (which you can't really do b/c they are losses) my record is actually 13-8-1. I'm just picking the wrong games to go heavier on. So my apologies for that though I have been trying to limit the spots.
Anyways, on to today...
UNDER 41.5 (NE/TEN: I see a LOT of love for the Titans today but they are really some sort of miserable. Don't forget, they have also let go of their coach and have an awful kicker. Add to that hefty winds and a NE QB who has really learned how to control a game and you see they the Patriots are so good. Oh, and their coach, Mike Vrabel, returns to Tennessee in what should be a revenge game. For me, what sealed it, was the line dropping and the winds picking up. I don't see how either team really airs it out today and the far better skill players are on the side of NE. I personally can see the Patiots smashing Tennessee who are also going to play without Ridley. Oh, and the trends show that the total has gone UNDER in 5 of New England’s last 6 games when playing on the road against Tennessee.
PHILADELPHIA ML (-130)...BIG PLAY!!!: I'm expecting people to gang up against the Eagles but I do not think that's the proper side today. I really love the Vikings, especially at home, just like the coaching and way they play football. But the Eagles are in clear need of a win and they have OWNED the Vikings in the series. Carson Wentz will also have motivation to face one of his old teams though this is far from the first time he will be squaring off against them. I think this game is a bit higher scoring than some of the others with no weather to have to negate and I just believe the Eagles go back to establishing the run with Barkley and getting a much needed road W.
NEW ORLEANS (+4): One has to ask themselves why this line is so low given the different directions by each team. One reason I think is bc the Saints seem to have found some offense though their road form this year has been anything but worthy of accolades. I'm not too sure they can get the win but they have actually won the past 8 games played between these two teams, which is compelling enough, even though I know the rosters are completely different, to ride the Saints in a game that will have loads of wind but I also think a bit more scoring.
That's all for the morning slate. Hoping that maybe limiting the big plays will help though I do seriously like the Eagles. But, I haven't been awesome, so do your own research and, as always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
...he's actually a friend of mine and has been for years obviously you don't visit the threads much to know this you just troll. Try posting your own plays and then come comment in peoples threads. That's what BC does when he actually comes into my threads and has even stated that much in his OWN thread.
