My case for the Patriots, but who knows?

Pats play a mistake free game, no turnovers,  and little to no penalties. Vrabel has done more with less in the past. Big bounce back for them on Sunday at Foxboro. Meanwhile the Panthers come back to earth imo.

I like that the Patriots are really good at running the ball(when not fumbling), and the Panthers are putrid against the run. They run a 3-4, where nose tackle Bobby Brown III is a usually a non factor. The Panthers also have 2 starting LB's out on Sunday. 

The Pats stop the run, allowing 2.8 yards per carry. Chuba Hubbard is banged up, but most likely plays.

If you want to see a funny boxscore from week 3(no, not Pitt/NE), look at the Panthers and Falcons. The Panthers won 30-0.

The Falcons out yarded them 332 to 224. 11 drives vs 9. 17 first downs to 15. 5 of 13 on 3rd down vs 2 of 11. 3 penalties vs 6. 

The only thing the Panthers won was turnovers 3 to 1, and time of possession by nearly 4 minutes. Also 2 for 2 on 4th down.

But still, how on earth does win by 30 there?

I think the Mepps #3 spinner with the brown tail is the most versatile lure ever made.  It catches everything!!!

If they don’t put the ball on the ground they beat the Steelers handedly, lost a 1 possession game week 1, a lot closer than most give them credit for.

I like the Panthers here. They seem to be quietly finding their stride. The Patriots turned the ball over 5 times vs Pittsburgh. That's quite a bit to clean up. They also have some red zone issues. Bryce Young has at least cleaned up his woes a bit. He had 5 turnovers in the first 5 quarters of the season. He since has 0.  The Panthers were also outscored 36-13 in that time frame. Since then they've outscored their opponents 49-17 these last 7 quarters. If McMillan can get the best of Gonzalez today even better. Gonzalez could be limited coming back off injury. Carolina will need to hold their own through a stout Patriot defense and get some pressure off the edges. I think they have a decent shot. GL.

Also, the Pats outgained Pittsburgh by 166 yards,  losing by seven. I was eyeballing NE myself. BOL!

Carolina is my fav play in a teaser, I’m a tiny hobby type player ,  so my 2 cents are exactly worth 2 cents  , 12.5 looks great , but lots of stuff looks great on paper , maybe we both hit !

I played them last week… they doubled opponents yardage…. I had horrible luck… I cannot today…. So yo odds go up.   Looks like you pointed out similarity in opening thread….  But I’m not playing them today… and that alone will … help you…
