MNF: Regular Season Team vs a Playoff Team

Regular Season I will take the Packers. 

They are 27-17-1 against the Eagles. They also lost at home last Sunday against the Panthers and it was Jordan Love's birthday. Take the Packers spread -1.5, this will be a blowout. The eagles will prepare for a tougher opponent at home next week the Detroit Lions and it will be the perfect angle for them to win against the Lions next week.

Consider this:
If the Eagles win tonight, they move into a first-place tie with Seattle for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

They’ve already beaten the Rams, which gives them the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Meanwhile, the Packers already hold the tiebreaker over the Lions after their earlier win.

So knowing all this, are we really supposed to believe the Eagles will look past tonight’s current NFC North leader, a team that already owns the tiebreaker over the Lions, and somehow be more focused on Detroit instead? And after having an extra week to prepare?

 Green Bay is not going to be involved in any tie breaking scenarios.  That is, unless there is another tie game involving a #1 seed contender.

A blowout?  That's a pretty bold prediction.   The Eagles have been at least as strong of a regular season team as any other team has over the last two seasons.  I don't care about what happened when these teams played in the 60's and 70's.  Eagles have won the recent games vs GB.
